You Saved Me

I was with my friend, I was celebrating my relationship status. I had finally got away from him. From the person who made me feel bad about myself. From the person who made me feel weak and worthless. Little did I know that he wasn't going to let me get away . . . Oh no.

12. Date With Bad News

Sophie POV

We went to a nice restaurant, it wasn't super fancy so we just wore nice clothes. I wore jeans, so did Harry, and I wore a lemon yellow tank top. Harry wore a light blue shirt. We sat down and Harry ordered us two cokes.

"How did you know I liked coke?" I asked him after the waitress walked off. He winked at me and smiled immaturely.

"You drink it a lot." He answered.

"That explains it." I murmured. Harry's phone beeped and he checked it quickly. I watched his face frown.

"My manager wants me to get back with Abbi for publicity." He growled. "I have to ask her out by the end of today or our new album and tour get delayed, we need more publicity."

"Oh. What happens if we get caught together?" I asked him. I felt like my heart was breaking; I had no chance with Harry.

"Nothing. We can just say we are good friends and wanted to go out for dinner." Harry reassured me.

"I don't want you to go back out with Abbi, she's horrible." I muttered. Just then our drinks came and we ordered our food. Harry chose a hot pizza and I chose a tomato and cheese pizza.

"I have to. It's for publicity. We can still hang out." He replied winking cheekily.

The pizzas came after fifteen minutes, we ate them in silence. When we got home Harry pulled out his mobile and called Abbi. I didn't want to listen to Harry ask her out so I went into my bedroom and called it a night.

Harry POV.

The date with Sophie went well, except she went quiet after I announced I had to go back out with Abbi. When we got back I pulled out my mobile and watched Sophie walk to her room silently. I dialled Abbi's number and waited for her to pick up.

"Hi, Abbi." I mumbled into the phone.

"Hiya, Harry. I have been waiting for you to call." She replied, it must have been her who got us to go back out again for publicity, she must have organised it.

"I'm sorry for leaving you. Would you like to be my girlfriend again?" I asked her, regretting my words as soon as they left my mouth. I had to do this for the boys.

"Sure!" She screamed into my ear, I pulled my mobile three inches away from my face so her screams didn't deafen me.

"I'm tired, night." I mumbled and hung up. I locked my phone and put back in my pocket and walked to Sophie's room. I knocked on the door.

"Come in." She called, her voice cracked slightly. I walked in and she looked at me, her eyes red and puffy. Her cheeks were still wet from the tears. "Oh. Hi Harry."

"Hi." I mumbled and sat on the edge of her bed. "Why so sad?" She then buried her face in her pillow.

"I thought I had a chance at being happy again." She mumbled.

"You do." I comforted. "You have all of us."

"I mean, be in a happy relationship." She mumbled.

"Oh. You will when the time is right." I reassured her.

"I only trust five boys in my life, not including family. Four of those boys have girlfriends." She replied angrily. "I don't want to trust anyone else." I see her point, being in an abusive relationship breaks people. I'm lucky she trusts me and the boys. I see how she is outside of the house, she is constantly looking around to see if her ex is there.
