You Saved Me

I was with my friend, I was celebrating my relationship status. I had finally got away from him. From the person who made me feel bad about myself. From the person who made me feel weak and worthless. Little did I know that he wasn't going to let me get away . . . Oh no.

7. Awake

I opened my eyes to bright light. I climbed out of bed slowly, stretching my muscles. I ran my hand through my hair, finding several knots. I walked to the kitchen to find all the boys awake. There was a giant plate filled with pancakes. I sat down on the only spare seat and took a pancake and threw it onto my plate. I grabbed the lemon juice and drenched the pancake with it, then grabbed the icing sugar and covered the pancake with that too. I folded up the pancake as carefully as I could, being cautious not to rip it. I grabbed my knife and fork and cut off a square, pushing it onto my fork then popping it into my mouth. It was delicious.

"Who made these pancakes?" I asked, looking up from my pancake.

"I did." Harry replied with his mouth full of pancake.

"They're really nice, you're a great cook." I complimented him. He grinned at me and ate another chunk. I turned my attention back to my pancake and cut another square out of it.

"Why do you cut your pancake up so neatly?" Liam questioned, raising his eyebrows. I looked up and saw he had the decency to finish what he was eating before he spoke.

"I don't know, I have always eaten pancakes like this." I answered. Liam lowered his eyebrows and rolled his eyes slightly.

"Wow." Liam laughed. I glared at him, eating another square from my pancake.

When I finished eating my pancake I grabbed another and ate it without any toppings. This time I ate it with my hands and Liam looked at me with his eyebrows raised; he then stopped laughing at me and mocking how I ate.  I ate about ten pancakes, Harry had to go and make some more. I patted my belly after my last.

"I don't think I can eat anymore." I admitted.

"I haven't seen a girl eat that much before." Louis commented.

I laughed at his comment. "Not all girls care about their weight, if I find I'm starting to get tubby I work out and eat less; but that has never happened since I don't gain a lot of weight." Louis just looked at me shocked.

When all the pancakes were gone I helped Harry wash up. I found out that everyone had a girlfriend except for Niall, poor Niall.

"Why are you with Abbi?" I asked him shyly. I was scared Harry would turn around and get angry at me.

"I don't know. I'm planning on ending it but . . . I don't know. I just can't. It will be almost impossible." He admitted.

"Just say it's over. Then walk away." I suggested, he turned to face me and nodded.

"That might work." He replied. When the washing up was finished I went to have a shower and get dressed. Kaitlin will be over in half an hour to take me shopping, a good hour before Abbi is expected.

When the doorbell rang I ran to the door to answer it, only to find Abbi standing there. She glared at me. Without a word and left the door open and walked into their apartment a little so I could call Harry. I couldn't deal with Abbi. Not now.

"It's Abbi." I muttered, a hint of acid in my tone. He gave me a swift nod and walked to the door.

"It's over, Abbi. Sorry." Harry said flatly.

"No!" Abbi screeched. I went to walk to the sofas to be spun around by Harry and have him press his lips to mine. My heart fluttered. We pulled away after a few seconds when footsteps approached. I saw Abbi standing there. "You bitch. Bye, Harry." She hissed at the both of us.

"What the hell?" I screamed at Harry, only to have him cut me off with another kiss. I pulled away immediately and raised my eyebrows at him.

"Sh, don't scream about it. Please." He whispered, pressing his index finger to my lips, silencing me subtly.

"Why?" I asked him. I was still gathering my thoughts. I guess I did have a small crush on Harry, I have since the day I saw him at the hospital. Kissing didn't help me build that bridge that will get me over it.

"I will explain later. Please don't tell anyone, even Kaitlin." He begged.

I nodded. "I promise I won't." As if on cue the doorbell went and I answered it. Hoping it wasn't Abbi. Thankfully it wasn't.

"Hiya! You ready to go?" Kaitlin asked. I nodded. My mind still jumbled up from the kiss.

"Hi. Yup." I muttered pursing my lips.

I sat in the car with Kaitlin and she looked at me, I knew she was going to ask me if there is anything wrong. I wanted to tell her Harry kissed me twice. I just couldn't. I promised.

"Whats up? You look nervous and worried." She asked. I sighed and shook my head.

"Nothing. Don't worry." I replied.

"You know what. I'm sick of these lies! You always say that and I know you're lying! Friends don't lie to each other!" She yelled at me. She hadn't even started the car yet.

"Sorry. I just can't say. I promised I wouldn't tell anyone." I retorted.

"You never keep secrets from me." She whispered.

"I have to. I'm sorry. It's just this one." I assured her. She bit her lip then sighed.

We spent three hours shopping for clothes. I was happy to finally get back to the boys' apartment.
