Two cities. Two months. Two boys. Two different lives. This story is about a girl called Heather. She has a decision of life ahead of her, but she doesn't know yet how hard it will be in the end. Will she choose the right way?

This is mixed fanfiction of One Direction and Emblem3, so hopefully you'll like it :) x

4. Why are you smiling?

After getting my over weighted suitcase I walked out to the airport waiting hall to notice a happy family of mom, dad and two kids standing there, holding a sign where my name was written. I walked towards them with a wide smile.

“Hey Heather! And welcome to the UK!” Emily, the host-mom of mine said.

“Thank you so much”, I responded when they all gave me a big group hug. We walked out of the airport and hopped in to the host-family’s car and drove off.

I would be living with Turner’s family for the next two months. I had a younger sister, Layla and a younger brother, John here. They were both only ten-year-olds and they were twins. The mother was called Emily and the father was called David.

We arrived to my new home. Emily opened the door for us while David was carrying my heavy suitcase inside the house.

“Heather, your room is along the hallway, that way”, Emily said smiling and pointed to the right.

“Okay, thanks”, I said and started to move towards my room. The hallway I was walking was really modern and expensive looking. There were family portraits everywhere; it really showed that I was staying in a happy family. I finally reached the entrance of my room and stepped in. The room was really cosy and not too big or too small. There were two large windows which showed the view to a beautiful and small garden. My bed was larger than the one I had at home, and I really liked it. I had a drawer, wardrobe and some other nice furniture placed perfectly around the room.

I placed my suitcase on to my bed and opened it. I started unpacking the clothes to the wardrobe when I remembered I needed to call Keaton via Skype. I quickly found my laptop and opened it. I sat down to my bed, logging in to Skype. As soon as I was logged in I made a video call to Keaton, who answered immediately.

“Hey babe, I miss you!” he said smiling and trying to hide his wet eyes.

“I missed you too”, I said blowing a kiss to the camera.

“So how was the flight?” he asked curious.

“It was good, I slept most of the time though”, I said deciding not to tell him about Harry.

“That’s great! Look who I got here”, Keaton said and lifted Boss to be on the camera. A tear started falling down my cheek, oh how I missed those two boys of mine. I slobbered something to Boss which made him excited, even if he didn’t understand where the voice was coming from.

“He misses you”, Keaton said chuckling. I touched the screen with a missing smile:

“I miss you too, both of you.”

Then I got a text message. I reached my phone from the bedside table and opened the message:

“Hey! It is Harry here, I was just wondering if you’d like to start the tour around London already today? X” I read on my mind.

“Why are you smiling? Who is it from?” Keaton asked curious. I didn’t even notice myself that I was smiling; I think it was some kind of a reflex. I quickly texted Harry back before answering Keaton.

“It was just my mom telling me that she will send some stuff later and that she is crying because she misses me”, I lied and threw the phone next to me on the bed.

“Keaton, I’m sorry but I have to leave now, Emily is pointing from outside for me to go there, I guess we’re having a dinner or something”, I lied again pretending to look over the laptop and to outside to the garden.

“Oh okay babe, call me later then, yeah?” Keaton said with a sad tune.

“Of course I will, I love you, bye!” I said blowing a kiss to the camera.

“Love you too, have fun!” Keaton said blowing a kiss back. I waved him one last time and then closed the laptop.

I quickly walked to the living room where I found Emily and David sitting and watching the news.

“Umm do you have any plans for the rest of the day?” I asked hoping they would say no. David turned to face me, resting his arm on the sofa’s edge.

“No, we thought you would like to relax today because of the jetlag and so”, David said smiling.

“Okay great, I’ll go and meet one of my friends, so I’ll be back home later and if you need me just give me a call”, I said and left back to my room. I changed my jumpsuit in to my favourite blue jeans and a lace top, wearing a bandeau under it. I put on some makeup, but not too much, just to look naturally beauty, like I was. I also did my hair, just simply letting it fall down. I took my bag that matched the outfit and rushed out of the door with quick byes.
