One Direction meets Gossip Girl

What happens if Harry, Louis, Niall, Zayn and Liam are in the Upper East Side of New York City. The five boys are not One Direction yet. In this story, the boys have grown up on the Upper East Side and are more popular than you can imagine. Years after the Blair and Serena era, we meet their daughters, Lauren Van der woodsen, and Desiree Waldorf. They are faced with the same manipulative blogger that their mothers were plagued with. Gossip Girl never dies, xoxo.

1. You Know You Love Me

Desiree and Lauren had been best friends ever since they could remember. Their mothers Blair and Serena were best friends growing up, as well. As far as they were concerned, they were little replicas of their mothers. They both had previlleged lives, and loved to share that with the world. Desiree was cute as a button, but fierce and stern when you looked past her exterior, she learnt everything she knew from her mom Blair. No one would ever think to cross her, which made her the natural Queen Bee. Lauren was tall and beautiful, just like her mother, Serena. One would think that she was the Queen Bee, but Serena prefered to let Blair do all the dirty work as she stood there looking gorgeous. When growing up, they had picked up Zayn Malik and added them to their exclusive friend group. Together, the three of them ruled the world. But now, entering grade 10 at Constance for the girls, and St. Judes for the boys, things were about to change. For one, after years of jealousy, Desiree had finally won Zayn’s heart, leaving it a little bit stiff between the three of them.
Desiree took Laurens hand as they walked out of their towncar and onto the street in front of Constance. All jealousy was lost, and the fresh air of their first day at Constance as grade 10’s took over. Even the seniors knew to steer clear from D and L because of their influence. As they walked up the front steps, all the other girls cleared a path for them, right down the middle. This was going to be fun, Des smiled to herself. She looked over at her best friend, and she knew things were going to be ok between them.
Lauren took her bag into her locker, which was right beside Desiree’s. She was slowly forgetting how she felt for Zayn, and rapidly remembering why she loved Des. They were best friends by nature, but stayed that way because they just worked. They were like sisters, and even Zayn Malik couldn’t get in the way of that. She walked out into the courtyard to meet Zayn and Des for lunch. She’d suck it up ad eat with them, because she underneath it all, she loved being with her best friends. When she got closer to her friends though, she noticed another boy standing with them. When he turned around, she saw it was Louis Tomlinson, a popular 11th grade boy at St Judes. When he saw her, his eyes brightened, and he smiled a big grin.
“Lauren,” Zayn said, “I’d like you to meet Louis. He’s the captain of the lacross team!” Louis took an instant liking to Lauren. He had heard about her legendary beauty, but he expected her to be a girl to flaunt it, but she wore her beauty with such grace.
“Want to take a walk?” All she could do was smile stupidly, nod, and follow when he took the first strides.
Desiree looked at Zayn with a victorious smile on her face. From the looks of it, Louis and Lauren had already hit it off, and she was going to have her best friend back! And of course while she was happy that her friend was happy, all she could think about was the feel of Zayn’s warm palm on the small of her back. He pulled her in, and all of a sudden his lips were on hers. She was so happy he was finally all hers.
Liam’s first day in grade 11 was far from perfect. He had already heard at least 5 guys talking about his younger sister, Kat. And Harry Styles was among those guys. He knew Harry. They were friends, as they were both on the sccer team, and they got on well. But Harry was known for being a nutorious playboy, and though it was funny to hear about all his adventures on the field, Liam knew it wouldn’t be funny if it was Kat, Harry was talking about. As glad as he was that they thought that she was pretty, Kat was too good for all of St Judes put together. But he knew there ws little he could do to stop the guys from going for Kat, and even less he could do to stop Kat from dating. That girl had a mind of her own! As lunch was starting, Liam rushed into the courtyard. He was to meet his best friend, Linn. Linn was the perfect friend. She was pretty, understanding, intelligent, pretty, talented, hard working, pretty. Oh, did we mention pretty? They had beed friends for so long, that he can’t even remember how they met. They often spent their time in his loft apartment watching artistic films, and playing Scrabble. They usually never ran out of things to say to each other, and if they did, they were comfortable in silence. They were both scolarship kids, so they didn’t quite fit in with the rich Upper East Siders, but they were okay with that, because they had each other. What Linn didn’t know about was Liam’s growing feelings for her. He just couldn’t seem to stop himself. But he couldn’t tell her because he didn’t want to do anything to ruin their friendship.
When Linn saw Liam, she perked up. She hated Constance, and the best part of her day was always eating lunch with Liam. He was so sweet to her. He embraced her and then sat on the bench next her. Their knees were touching, and she felt a rush go through her body. Weird, she though. But she just shrugged it off. They took out their sandwiches and she passed him half of her grilled cheese, while he passed her hlf of his PB and J. They had done that since they first started school together. She looked at Liam and smiled as he went on and on about his worry for his sister, who was in grade 9. He was such a good brother, and she loved that about him.
Kat sat in the courtyard with her best friend Alex. As 9th graders they weren’t exactly at the top of the social ladder, But Alex was pretty damn rich, so that gave them some cred. Over the summer Kat had grown about 4 inches, and now stood at a nice 5’6”. Her chest had swollen, and her hair was now the perfect length. She never wore make up to school, as she felt there was just no point. But a lot of guys were still interested in her. Harry Styles looked on as one of his best friends, Niall Horan prattled on about how he and Alex were going to celebrate their six month soon. Their other best friend, Louis was with that gorgeous 10th grader, Lauren, so it was just him and Niall. Harry couldn’t help but feel interested in Kat. If Niall was dating her friend, a 9th grader, why couldn’t he? What mostly stopped him was her brother, Liam Payne. Harry greatly respected the guy, and liked him vry much, and he knew that Liam knew a lot about his player past. He wouldn’t blame him if Liam wanted him to stay away. But he wasn’t all fun and games. Harry really did want a real relationship, and the way he was drawn to Kat was uncontrolable. She looked up from her conversation with Alex and caught his eye. He smiled at her.
Kat couldn’t believe her eyes. Had Harry Styles really just smiled at her? She felt butterflies in her stomach. If one smile from him could do that to her, she didn’t even want to know what would happen if they talked. But she was about to find out. Niall and Alex had spotted each other, and the two boys started to mke their way over. Although Alex and Niall had been going out for a while, Kat never really got to know Niall’s friends, as her father was quite protective and wouldn’t let her go to parties until this grade. She was excited to attend her first high school event. As Niall and Alex kissed, she felt herself become even shyer. She had never been kissed before. She felt Harry’s eyes on her, and she couldn’t help but feel special. They were about to talk when their phones went off.
“This just in… the new school year has started and there is no shortage of drama. D ad Z may be together (finally) but what does this mean for D and L’s friendship?! L may be caught up with the male L, but we all know she’s always had a soft spot for Z. Then again, who wouldn’t?
Would the two scholarship kids in grade 11 (that means you LP and Linn) please just hook up already!? I mean come on, we can’t decide whether the growing sexual tension between you guys means you’re just oblivious, or you two are already hooking up. But if you were, I would already know that ;) Maybe LP is too busy trying to keep H away from his little sister.
Speaking of which, has anyone seen K as of late? Last year we barely even noticed the girl, except for the fact that she was bound to be pretty because, well let’s admit it, LP is a hottie. But she has finally grown into it, and no wonder H can’t keep his eyes off her. No doubt he’ll have some competition there.
Word is, N and A are about to celebrate their 6 months. A close source tells me that tings are going to heat up, and FAST. Oh boys and their younger girlfriends…
Something tells me that this is going to be an interesting year,
You know you love me. Xoxo gossip girl”
