1. The Puppy

I woke up at 3 in the morning, AGAIN. God, can this night get any worse? I grabbed the glass of water on my bedsidetable and took drink. I must of woken Ian up, because he sat up and put his arm around me. I loved his sweet smell, so I snuggled closer.

"Can't sleep?" he asked softly.

"No," I reply, snuggling in closer.

"Wanna go see Chace?" he asked.

"Yeah, please." I reply, as we quietly put on our slippers and headed for the garage. Chace is or puppy, if you hadn't already guessed. We knew it was to early, and we would probably wake Anthony and Kalel up, who were sleeping in their room, but we didn't care.

We ran like kids out to the garage and pulled poor little chace out of the box. He was shivering and cold.

"Aww, look at him," I coo'd at the puppy. He was a golden retriver puppy and he was amazing cute, with deep brown eyes, that you could compare to Anthony's and an amazing golden coat, soft and shiny. Ian sat on the garage floor and held the poor baby in his arms. She seemed to relax around Ian. I knew I given her the perfect owner and we would take care of her until we died.

"Here come sit," Ian tapped the floor beside him, so I sat my ass down beside him. The puppy looked at me with the eyes I loved and Ian handed her over. Well, she was defianantly heavier than I remembered, but it had been a few weeks. We sat there and petted Chace until the sun came up, when we took the puppy back in the house, where Ian rolled on the carpet, playing with it and I had a mug of coffee, watching them mess about.
