Louis Tomlinson is My Brother

Isabelle is sick of all the attention she is getting from her famous brother, Louis Tomlinson. She decides to move away from her home, and live somewhere else and completely change, hoping to leave her other life behind.

6. Talking

“How was school?” Those were the first words which popped to Uncle Kevin’s mouth as I walked in the door. He worked from home, so he was always sitting in the corner in front of the computer screen, with the TV on softly in the background.

“It was okay,” I responded as I threw my bag into my room.

“People aren’t as better off as you, are they?” he asked, moving away from his computer screen and going into the kitchen to grab a can of coke from the fridge. “Want some?”

“Sure.” I walked further into the small space and took the coke from his hand. “Yeah, people aren’t as rich as I thought they would’ve been.”

Uncle Kevin laughed. “I live here ‘cause rent is cheap.” He walked back to his computer.

“Yeah…” slumping down on the soft, worn out couch I took the TV remote and started to flip through the channels.

“You starting to think that purple hair was too much?”

“No, never. I love it!” as I said that, I put my hand on my hair. it was almost like Perrie’s, except mine was better.

“Just making sure,” Uncle Kevin laughed and soon the keyboard started tapping.

There was nothing on TV, so I left on the sports channel it was on, and went into my room. I had gotten texts from my other ‘friends’ from my old school. I ignored them. They only wanted to be my friends because Louis was my brother. Talk about using people. That’s why I wanted to start fresh as Izzy Rogers, so no one could relate me to Louis and I wouldn’t be getting thousands of people wanting to be my friends. Now, I might at least know who my real friends were. I was bored, and decided to call Eleanor back. She was a cool girl. Maybe we could hang out tonight.

“Why did you leave so abruptly before?” Eleanor demanded as soon as she picked up.

“Someone came in, and I had to leave before I got caught,” I quickly explained. “Want to hang out tonight?”

“Sure! You’re at your Uncle Kevin’s?”

“Okay, I’ll pick you up in an hour.”
