Louis Tomlinson is My Brother

Isabelle is sick of all the attention she is getting from her famous brother, Louis Tomlinson. She decides to move away from her home, and live somewhere else and completely change, hoping to leave her other life behind.

5. Coincidence

“El, I can’t talk now,” I answered the phone after twenty seconds of debate.

“Isabelle, but it’s important,” Eleanor urged. “Your mom phoned me and said she was worried about you.”

I sighed, put the toilet seat down and sat on it, really hoping it was clean. “I’m in school El,” I argued.

“I don’t care. It’s your first day; they’ll give you a break.”

“How do you know?”

“It’s not some stuck-up private school is it?”

“No….” I let my o trail into nothing as I suddenly realized. “Everyone’s poor, and super obsessed with One Direction.”

Eleanor chuckled. “Everywhere people are obsessed with them. You’ll just have to get used it.” I heard a smile in her voice, and I just wanted to hurt her at that point. Yes, Eleanor was cool to have as my brother’s girlfriend, and I loved her. It was just that… well…

“El, I did this to get away from the media,” I explained. “I don’t like to be on the front-cover of magazines when I fool around and act dumb.”

“I know, Izzy, but that’s part of your life now.”

Suddenly I heard the voices of Bethany, Paula and Wendy. My heart started to beat fast.

“Isabelle, Louis is also worried about you, too. He said you didn’t sound like yourself the other night,” I could hear the concern in Eleanor’s voice.

“But Louis took away my life as I knew it before,” I explained in an uneasy tone. The bathroom door eased open, and laughter echoed. I had to leave Eleanor now.

“Louis said he’d call you soon, and talk. He means it, Isabelle.”

“Listen, Eleanor, I have to go… tell Lou that I’m busy…” the three girls entered the bathroom.

“Isabelle Tomlinson, don’t leave!” Eleanor threatened, but too late. I had already ended the call.

“Izzy?” one of the girls called, and I’m pretty sure that it was Bethany.

“Yeah?” I put my phone in my pocket, got up and flushed the toilet before leaving the stall and going to wash my hands.

“There you are,” Paula smiled at me. “Heeey…”

“What?” Bethany quickly said. I looked to see Paula. She was examing my face, and I saw that she might recognize me.

“She looks a lot like Louis,” Paula observed. “She even has the same eyes, nose and ears.”

Okay… I started to freak out. Why did people examine my brother’s facial features? That was just weird. Pure obsession. I was scared that my cover would have been blown. It couldn’t. Not so soon anyway.

“Coincidence,” I shrugged my shoulders as I reached for a paper towel. “You look a lot like Selena Gomez.” I named the first star which popped to my head. It wasn’t exactly true, but it was close enough. My cover couldn’t be blown, not now.
