Kiss and Tell

Emily just thought she was going to your average One Direction concert.
Emily just thought wrong.

Emily's 18, and when she and her best friend Jenny turn up to a 1D concert to find it's cancelled, they aren't pleased. All too fast, they're sharing a hotel with the boys, and Jenny's changed. Drastically. They discover parites, clubs, drugs and fame. Jenny's going off the rails, hitting headlines for the wrong reasons, though she's not the only one making mistakes. Emily gets pregnant, oblivious to who the father is. Let's just remember not all stories have a happy ending, and where there's love, there's drugs, and where there's drugs, there's guns..

33. The Grand Finale

Three Months Later

It all makes sense now.

Why she was acting weird.

Why she was so unusually happy.

I should have caught it while I had the chance.

But now it’s too late.

This is my fault this time. Mine.

She should have told me she was in trouble. How the hell did it happen?

Was it suicide? Murder?

She never really was okay.

She never really did give up the drugs, the drinks.

She was still high on it all. She wasn’t happy. She was high.

And now she’s gone.

She's lying in the hotel room, blood spilling from the little hole in her head, the revolver lying mockingly on the floor.

No. This isn’t right.

Jennifer McGuire is dead.
