Kiss and Tell

Emily just thought she was going to your average One Direction concert.
Emily just thought wrong.

Emily's 18, and when she and her best friend Jenny turn up to a 1D concert to find it's cancelled, they aren't pleased. All too fast, they're sharing a hotel with the boys, and Jenny's changed. Drastically. They discover parites, clubs, drugs and fame. Jenny's going off the rails, hitting headlines for the wrong reasons, though she's not the only one making mistakes. Emily gets pregnant, oblivious to who the father is. Let's just remember not all stories have a happy ending, and where there's love, there's drugs, and where there's drugs, there's guns..

32. The End

Just two years ago, Jenny had barely touched fame. Now she’s soaked to the core in it. Her album was a hit. It’s only just gone down from Number One after three weeks running. I’ve never seen her so happy. And I’ve never seen me so happy. Best friends with Jenny again, it’s like we never fell out at all. But I can’t just forget that we did. I can’t forget that she’s partially the reason for my crazy breakdown. But I also need to move on, which I reckon I’ve done pretty well actually. We’ve even got matching BFF rings, which is super childish, I know, but we’re immature like that.

And her and Zayn have finally got together. I don’t agree with it entirely, but it’s Jen’s life I guess.

“Jennifer, look over here!”

The blinding lights are something I will never get used to. Her arm seems the perfect fit for Zayn’s. Zed’s scooped her hair into a Hollywood starlet bun, bursting high upon her head. Slick red lips, elegant eyes, she’d be the perfect James Bond sex appeal. A tight red dress hugs her body, spilling out over her feet. Zayn’s wearing a 007 style tux, his hair sleeked back looking almost as glossy as his shoes.

Jen flashes a pearly white grin my way, winking.

Things change, that I’ve discovered.

Things change for the best. Just when you think things have finished changing, they’ll change again. Jenny’s like that. She’s pushed through rehab and has come out as a stunning beautiful woman. Maybe I should be jealous that she’s got so much more out of this than I have. But now, looking down at the little boy clutching my fingers, the tufts of curls attempting to sprout from his little head, I know that I’ve got just as much out of the past few years as Jen has. Harry pulls my head to face him and we kiss, moulding into become the mother and father we should be.

Life can be great.

I just knew in the end, all stories come to a happy ending.
