Kiss and Tell

Emily just thought she was going to your average One Direction concert.
Emily just thought wrong.

Emily's 18, and when she and her best friend Jenny turn up to a 1D concert to find it's cancelled, they aren't pleased. All too fast, they're sharing a hotel with the boys, and Jenny's changed. Drastically. They discover parites, clubs, drugs and fame. Jenny's going off the rails, hitting headlines for the wrong reasons, though she's not the only one making mistakes. Emily gets pregnant, oblivious to who the father is. Let's just remember not all stories have a happy ending, and where there's love, there's drugs, and where there's drugs, there's guns..

20. The Beginning

There's a knock at the door.

It's 5am.

I feel dead.

Jenny groans, rolling out of bed in her tiny lingerie. She pulls a silk dressing gown over her body, and lazily opens the door.

It's Harry.

Jenny smiles flirtatiously. Harry pushes her out the way.

"Emily," His voice is tight and stressed. He sits on the bed beside me, flicking a newspaper on his lap. "Look."

I look.

And I wish I hadn't.

Harry and I, at the coffee shop, him holding my hand, stroking my thumb.

"Shit!" I rub my eyes. Well, there's my private life down the drain.

"That's not all," He drawles, turning a few crumpled pages. Jenny's eyes flicker with danger. She knows something's up.

Harry points a firm finger to some small black writing.

Jennifer McGuire, 19, tells us about the young couples romance: " We're number one fans of the band!" She spills, "But when we came to Manchester, I never expected Emily to sleep with every member of One Direction. She's 18, for crying out loud! It's such a shame that Harry hasn't discovered the truth about her, I don't even know the real Emily anymore."

I rip the newspaper from Harry's pale shaking hands, thrusting it in Jenny's face.

"What the f*** is this?! What the f*** were you thinking?! What the f*****g hell were you saying?!" I push her back into the door. She laughs.

"I speak the truth," She cackles. "Anyway, do you mind, it's like, five in the morning, it takes sleep to look this good." She looks me up and down. "Maybe it's what you need."

I shake her shoulders, tears escaping from my eyes.

"Jenny, this is too far! Too far this time!" I throw my head back. "Please. Stop."

"Please, Emily, this is only the beginning."
