Two Worlds Collide

Breanna Stewart was living a normal life in her apartment with her 12-year-old sister, until she met Harry Styles and fell for him. With a normal girl from suburbia and a superstar guy touring the world, two entirely different worlds collide.

12. Harry's Point of View

Harry's POV:

Finally. She kissed me. I had kissed the girl I couldn't stop thinking about. It was amazing.
Bree's smile suddenly turned to a frown. "Harry, I can't do this," she said.
"What?" I was stunned.
She pulled my hands off her shoulders. "I'm really sorry, Harry," she explained. "I already have to take care of Renee, which is hard enough. I can't have any distractions. I really do like you, but in this situation I'm in, I just need to devote all my attention to Renee right now."
I was devastated. I thought all my work had finally paid off, but now it just went down the drain. "I understand," I said softly. "But I think that I could really help you. You already have to take on three jobs as a sister, mother, and father. I can take some of the stress away from you." I sighed. "But I understand." I started to turn when she grabbed me and pulled me around.
"Alright," Bree said. "I'll give it a shot. But if I need to take a break for a while, I don't want it to completely end us."
I nodded. After kissing her again, I said, "I want you to meet someone."
We walked hand-in-hand back to the hotel the boys and I were staying in. "Who am I meeting?" Bree asked in the elevator.
"You'll see," I told her.
"Is it a girl? Is it a boy? Is it an ocelot? Is it--"
"Ocelot?" I laughed. She was too cute.
The elevator dinged when we got to the 6th level. I led her to our room and opened the door the boys were all sitting in the living room.
"Bree, this is Liam, Niall, Louis, and Zayn," I told her, pointing to each of the boys. "They're my band mates."
She cheerfully exclaimed, "Hello!" How adorable.
"So, you're the girl Harry won't stop talking about!" Niall laughed.
I blushed. Bree looked at me and smiled.
Suddenly she looked at her watch and said, "Oh no! I've gotta get home. Renee gets out in a few minutes. Besides, she might get caught off guard with all the fire trucks in front of the building!"
"I'll walk you there," I volunteered.
It didn't take long to get to the building. They weren't letting people in yet, so herds of residents were huddled outside.
Renee looked so shocked when she walked towards us. "What happened?!"
"Don't worry," Bree said, leaning over her. "There was a little fire and they're just cleaning it up. We should be in soon." Its amazing how caring she was to Renee. It was so sweet.
Renee was breathing quickly, leaning into Bree. Bree wrapped her arms around her. She looked over at me, with sad eyes. I set my hand on her shoulder, trying to comfort her. I wish I could have a younger sibling to comfort...
