"Excuse me Miss?" He questioned. My heart started pounding through my chest, the thumps blasting loud enough into the sockets of my ears. I pulled my beanie down and pushed my glasses up against my nose.

"Yeesssss?" I stated nervously.

"Did you steal that coat?" the officer exclaims while pointing to the tag by my right hip of the jacket.

I giggled a bit to make me seem normal. "That's embarrassing! I forgot to remove the silly tag off! Yes I did though. I even have the receipt in my pocket" I exclaimed as I rummaged through my petite jean pocket and grabbed the crumbled receipt. I presented the receipt to the man which he laughed. "Im sorry miss, I did not mean to frighten you." "It's fine sir, I would understand your conundrum on this matter." I assured him. I pace myself quickly to the cafe door, trying hard not to make a scene. That was a close call. I yanked off the tag on the way to my car to not attract anymore attention. I hopped in, turned the ignition and drove away. I scour the road for any black vans, like an eagle prying on its prey. Nothing.

It's been two days since I left the cafe. Still no sight of any black vans. I pulled up into the nearest gas station to fill the tank and use to restroom. After I went to the bathroom I wandered around the store. I purchased a Dr. Pepper and Sour Skittles for the drive to enjoy myself. I then marched to the counter to check out. I had on a brown beanie, dark blue jean jacket with a brown hoodie underneath, and dark blue jeans. I had brown mascara and eyeliner so people could tell I was a girl because the beanie covered all my hair. As I was checking out I the sight of the bulletin board behind the lady caught my eye. It had photos of the men, Amber, and me with the bolded words, WANTED FOR QUESTIONING, underneath it. I quickly snatched my candy and pop and speed walked to the door. I bolted into my car and slid through open the door. I jumped in and put the keys in. I noticed something really suspicious looking. I slowly turned around and saw a black van filling up on gas. I could see a faint view of a girl in the backseat. With her long, blond, curly hair. I knew who she was, Amber.
