3. Oh no, what now?

I quickly pull myself together and sprint to my car. I drive off of the curb and down the road the van took. If I loose Amber I loose everyone important to me, except my family which is small anyway. She is the only person I ever trusted. What did she do to deserve this?

I finally catch up with the van. We sort of have a slow chase scene from a movie going on. We each understand that we don't want cops getting involved so we don't speed. Every time you involve the police it gets worse. I speak from experience.

This chase is getting me no where so I decide to speed up a little. I am edging up on them on the lane to the right. I can see the driver through the mirror. He hasn't seen me yet. As  I just about get caught up he sees me through his icy blue eyes. Their van suddenly starts speeding up a lot to get away. All I could think about is Amber so I hit the gas and sped up too. Both of our cars carefully maneuver around the other cars in the lanes. We are going pretty fast now. Ha, was all I think. There are no cops yet. Suddenly I flash back to the man I saw in the mirror and his icy blue eyes. They were oddly familiar. I think I know him somehow. Did Amber and I know these people?

After 5 more minutes of chasing each other I am getting tired of it. I want my friend back and they are going to give her back. I am fully speeding now and there are no other cars on the rode besides ours. I am directly to the right of the van now. I can see Amber's frightened face. I can't take it anymore. I lightly tilt  my steering wheel to the left and bump their car. I carefully try not to hurt Amber at all.

Suddenly they slow down and pull to the side. We are in a forest area now and there are no other cars. I pull over too. I look at their car before getting out to make sure this isn't a trap. I see two guys huddled around a tire of the car examining it. I must have given them a flat tire while I steered into them. Another guy carefully watches me to make sure I won't do anything. I unbuckle myself and open to car car door fast. I wasn't wearing shoes at the time because I can't drive with these heels. I run to the man that was watching me before and I punch him in the gut. He swiftly punches my arm back. I can't feel my arm so I start to hit him with my left arm.

"JUST GIVE AMBER BACK AND I WILL LEAVE!" I scream at him. I hear footsteps running towards me from other men running at me. I quickly punch the guy with icy blue eyes and shove him to the floor. Then I kick him in the stomach and back a few times.

"GIVE HER TO ME!" I yell. Another guy tackles me from behind. My head hits the ground pretty hard. I rub it for a second then get up. I slap the guy who tackled me then I run to the car. Amber is at the window waiting for me. She is wrapped in duct tape and seat buckled down. I try my best to open the door, but it won't budge. Another man comes up from behind me and slaps my head. Then he puts his hand around my mouth and picks me up. I do the only thing I can think of. I bite him. He yelps in pain and I scramble out of his grasp.  I run to the van again and started to punch it. My fists are bleeding now. I groan because it isn't working at all. I turn to see two men running at the car. I tripp one, but he catches himself and pushes me down. They get into the car and I quickly stand up. They hit the breaks and start to drive.

I realize not all of the men got back into the car. I turn around and saw the man with icy blue eyes lying on the ground where I left him. His blood covers the grass and his black hair. I rush over to see him and I kneel next to him. I shake him, but he doesn't move. His nose is all bloody. I didn't think I hit him that hard. Suddenly I hear police sirens coming toward where I am. This doesn't look good. xXxAuthor's NotexXx- Hey guys hoped you liked this chapter! My first authors note it feels special lol.
