Fangirl: The Story Of After

Dies from fangirling and can't be brought back, even after the struggles of the Spirits.

18. Grimmy

Lottie's POV

Why the heck is the Reaper here! It's cause of him me and Liam are stuck here! In a burst of anger, I ran up to him, throwing a punch, but missing by a long shot. When I opened my eyes after attempting to punch him and instead punching the wall he was leaning on, he was on the other side of the room.

"You're pretty fiesty Charlotte. You wouldn't want to beat up the person carrying your soul though, would you?"

Honestly, he didn't even look scary. He looked like your average emo-goth-modern day teenager. That's what pissed me off about him. His black, shaggy, spiked up hair covered the right side of his face. The left side of his face was covered in white make up. I'm pretty sure if he wasn't all Satan-ish, he'd be pretty cute. Cute doesn't get him anywhere on my good side though. I ran up to him again in a stormy mode, but before I could run to the half way point, Liam's arms strenched out in a way I hadn't seen before. His arms curled around my stomach, preventing my from running and attacking Grim.

"So Charlotte, Liam, like I said earlier. Good to see you again. You guys can call me Grimm. Grimmy. I don't care as long as you don't call me Grimelda. If you do call me Grimelda though, this will happen." He held his hands out, blowing on it, causing a ball of fire to hit an innocent passer-by. The thing that got hit burst into a million nore balls of flame that looked like fire works. All that was left afterwards were it's ashes.

"You cruel, cruel man." Liam said, still clutching onto me, while walking over to it's ashes.

"Aw, thanks Liam. Now what can I do ya for." he said in a cocky tone. He blew on his nails, causing them to get all scorched.

I walked up to his face, Liam close behind to make sure I wouldn't do anything out of the ordinary.

"Just one thing Grim," I started, "Why did you choose me to go down here. Why not some other mortals."

"Cause it's fun to pick some girl who looked miserable on Earth to go into a place that would make her more miserable. Liam was just a plus. Spirits said if I brought Liam they'd give me a bonus. " No guilt was plastered on his face the way I thought it would have.

"What bonus?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows, my arms crossed.

"Vampire teeth" he showed his fangs and hissed at the both of us.

"Really vampire teeth? You're the lord of the underworld region here and all you wanted was vampire teeth? You robbed someone's life you know?"

He shrugged his shoulders as I felt Liam's hands on my shoulder's heaten up, a sure warning sign Liam was gonna burst. Luckily he didn't. He breathed in and out heavily a few times and let go of his grip on me.

"Bring us back to Earth, or at least get us out of here and back onto the Clouds. It's my fault were down here so the least you can do is send Lottie up." His words shocked me again. For some reason, I've felt like Liam is a whole new person. He wasn't that sweet Liam that hated saying no to people. He was a Liam that was learning to stand up for himself and does whatever he wants. A Liam I was really gonna like.
