It Hurts To Know.

It hurts to know that you'll never remember something I'll never forget.

Alexandria has never been more excited for anything. Finally after going through so much struggles and pain, she can FINALLY meet her idols. This was the one night she could get away. Away from all the hatred and pain at home. Away from all the abuse and hurt. But what she and her best friend Chloe thought was going to be an average concert- turned into the best night of their lives. What happens after Chloe leaves? Is Chloe really a TRUE friend? Who will Alex chose? And more importantly... who is hurting them? Will someone finally tell her she's worth it, that she's beautiful... and will somebody finally care for her?

36. Trust

“Alexandria?” I felt someone shaking me. “Alexandria?” My eyes fluttered as someone kept stroking my hair, and another pair of hands shaking me to wake up. “Alex, love. Please wake up.”

“It’s us love, please just open your eyes.” I rubbed my eyes as I raised myself to sit.

“What time is it?” I mumbled.

“Three o’clock. We wanted to go somewhere, and you need to come with us.” I quickly recognized that Irish accent. As I opened my eyes, I could see that all the guys were here. All- but Louis.

“Where’s Louis?”

“He’s in the living room love. He’s just calling a cab.” I faced Liam.

“Li-Li, where are we going?”

“Love, get dressed. We’ll tell you in the car.” I shook my head and go out of bed, the guys watching me intently.

“Well go, do you want to see me naked?” I said.

“Harry…” I looked up at him. “Go, I need to change.

“Okay.” He had the saddest face on, and I couldn’t resist.

“Oh god.” I ran over and hugged each of the boys.

“Prince Harold.” I hugged Harry.

“Nialler.” I hugged Niall.

“Li-Li.” I hugged Liam.

“My defender.” I winked as I hugged Zayn. I looked into the living room; there was one last person to hug. “LOUIS?”

“YES LOVE?” He yelled.

“COME HERE PLEASEE!” I yelled back again. As I saw him walking towards me, I ran up and hugged him. “My teddy bear.” I let go, and ran back into my room. “Now shoo guys! Be gone!” As the boys walked out, I went over to my shopping bags and started choosing. “It’s going to take a lot of work to pay the boys back… My pay is crap.” I mumbled. Wait- work? Pay? I stood straight up, as I realized that I hadn’t been to work in a week. I quickly reached over and unlocked my phone, calling the Starbucks.

“Claire, it’s Alexandria. Could I talk to Mark?”

“Alex? Where the hell have you been girl? Mark is sooo pissed. I think you’re fired.” I sighed.

“That’s okay. Could I just talk to him?”

“Yeah one sec.” I waited, hearing the mumbling in the background.

“Hello?” I heard a gruff voice.

“Hi Mark…”

“Alexandria? Where the hell have you been? It’s been a week!”

“I know bu-“

“Alexandria, this time there are no buts.”

“It’s okay Mark, I get it. It’s just, I needed to get away from my dad. I get that I’m fired, and I’m really sorry.” I could hear him sigh. He seems really tough on the outside, but he’s a big teddy bear on the inside. I’ve told him so much.

“Yeah, yeah I know. But we’ll sure miss you.”

“I’ll stop by, I promise. But one thing…”

“Don’t trust Chloe,” I said, hanging up the phone.
