It Hurts To Know.

It hurts to know that you'll never remember something I'll never forget.

Alexandria has never been more excited for anything. Finally after going through so much struggles and pain, she can FINALLY meet her idols. This was the one night she could get away. Away from all the hatred and pain at home. Away from all the abuse and hurt. But what she and her best friend Chloe thought was going to be an average concert- turned into the best night of their lives. What happens after Chloe leaves? Is Chloe really a TRUE friend? Who will Alex chose? And more importantly... who is hurting them? Will someone finally tell her she's worth it, that she's beautiful... and will somebody finally care for her?

35. Listen

I was sick of her being mistreated. I was sick of her constantly being used and abused- it was enough. Someone needs to stand up for her- and I’m sure the rest of the boys want to too. But I was the one who had to start it. But this- was the last straw. He was yelling so loud through the phone, that I heard what he said. My head started spinning as I grabbed the phone from Alexandria.

“NOW YOU, LISTEN TO ME.” I was furious. There were people in the restaurant starring at us, but I didn’t care. “ Don’t you even dare call Alexandria again.” I took a sharp breath in, and talked. “She’s beautiful, amazing and she doesn’t need little pieces of shit like you ruining that.” Memories flooded through my head. “We know what you’ve done to her. We’ve seen everything. And you’re bloody lucky me and the boys haven’t called the cops on you.” I looked towards Alex, and I could see she was nuzzled in Niall’s chest.

“I always knew she was a slut.” He muttered. Zayn grabbed the phone from me.

“Now you fricken listen to me. If you think that you can treat Alexandria this way, you’re bloody wrong. She is an extraordinary girl, and you should be proud that she’s your daughter. But you don’t deserve her. You’ve hurt her enough. You’ve scared her enough. She doesn’t deserve to be hurt anymore. She doesn’t need you. Nobody needs you.” I could feel my other hand curl up into a first as he chuckled. I looked towards everyone and led them towards the back, where no one else could hear us. I punched the wall, and could feel the blood rushing to my hand. I could still hear him chuckling, so I put him on speaker.

“Oh I’m soooo scared,” he muttered. “And what are you going to do about it?” I’ve had enough of his crap. I took the phone.

“Mister, now you listen. We could call the cops on you right now for all you’ve done to Alexis. We could send them to come and arrest you. And for all these things you’ve done, I can guarantee you the best sentence they’ll give you, is solitary confinement for life.

“How many of you guys are there? I knew she was a slut.”

“Do you even know who we fricken are?” Louis said.

“I don’t know, and I don’t care. I could give two less shits.”

“You don’t want to mess with us…” I muttered.

“What’s up with your accent, I can’t even understand anything you’re saying, you sound stupid.”

“It’s not stupid, you just aren’t intelligent and fucking sober enough to understand.

“Ohhhh,” he slurred. “Are you the stupid boy band Alex obsesses over?” He chuckled. “I can see why she chose you guys over me.” Alex looked angrily at the phone, and walked over.

“Listen to me dad, leave me and my ‘friends’,” she looked around, “alone. I don’t need you anymore in my life, and you’ve already done enough damage. Leave me alone, and I’ll leave you alone. Plus, if you leave me alone you’ll just have enough money for all the fucking booze and drugs.”

“Then I guess you don’t want to see your mother anymoreee,” he slurred.

“Leave. Me. Alone.” She took the phone with teary eyes, and ended the call.
