Average girl

Amelia is an average girl. Average knowledge, average looks. But yet, she doesn't have many friends. She is sweet and caring and absolutely adores everybody. She tries her best not to judge the people she meets, and that is what got her in this situation. When a new student starts at the start of the school year, she is quick to jump head in on trying to make the person feel comfortable. Yet what happens when this new student is the bad boy Blake Harris? Does the magic sparkle or will they even be friends?

13. Crystal

Blake's point of view:

"Another beer?" The bartender asked with a flirty smile. Fey, was her name. "Of course. Do I look weak to you?" I said with an equally flirty smile. "Not in the slightest." She bit her lip and poured me a beer. "This one is on me, handsome." I took the beer and smiled. I was beginning to feel the buzz, the long missed buzz. It was the one moment in time where everything was about me, I could do whatever I wanted and no one could stop me. I didn't have to be a part of my life, I could choose whatever life I wanted, and whomever I wanted.
"BLAKEY!" A drunken annoying voice screamed from the door, it was Crystal. She was standing there in a skimpy dress and all dolled up. Her friends found a table as she ran over and threw herself at my body.
"Hi, Crystal." I said as I gave her a hug. "Are you drinking alone?" She said, then bit her lip. "Not anymore, I guess" I responded and gestured for her to sit down at the bar with me. She sat down and ordered a drink.

"So you just like do whatever you want? Like whatever?" Crystal flirted, clearly very drunk. I had had my share, and things were starting to get blurry. "Come with me." She took my hand and guided me towards the bathroom. When we got there, she locked the door and moved closer. She started to kiss me, slowly moving downwards removing my clothes as she went.

I woke up behind the wheel, in Aly's driveway. I got out and stumbled towards the door, still a bit drunk. Inside I met Aly in the kitchen. "Hi." I mumbled, heading straight for the fridge and grabbing a water bottle. I gulped it down. "Hi. Look, I'm sorry about yesterday. Maybe I could make it up to you." She smiled her sweet smile and took another bite from her apple. "I found out that classes are cancelled for tomorrow, so I thought that maybe we could, you know hang out tonight. I think my parents have some alcohol stored away somewhere." She looked so insecure, standing there with her apple. Like she was afraid I would say no. Last night was still a blur, but I was pretty sure I had sex with Crystal, and I actually regretted it. I felt this pit in my stomach, but maybe I was just hungry. "Of course, it sounds fun." I flashed her a smile, trying to hide my confusion. "School starts soon, so we should get going." She crossed the room, looking up at me before giving me a peck on the mouth. She smiled, blushed and headed for the hallway.

When lunch-break came around, Crystal grabbed my arm and brought me to the table. When we sat down, she leaned over and whispered: "Thanks for last night, handsome. You really are as good as they say." My eyes shoot straight ahead at Aly's table. She hadn't noticed, she was smiling and laughing with her little group of friends. She looked quite happy from here, like she didn't have a care in the world. I knew that was a lie, but she hid it really well.

After school, I met up with her at my car. "I won't ask you how your day was, because I know you hate that. So I will just tell you that I had a really good day." I smiled at her, and then we drove home.

"I dare you to tell me a secret" Aly was laughing and smiling, while daring me to all sorts of thing, on the rooftop terrace. "Okay, let’s play this thing properly then. I dare you to smoke an entire cigarette with me." I said and grabbed for my pack. She took a big gulp of beer and reached over and took the pack. For a tiny second, I could smell her perfume. "How do you do this?" She had a cigarette in one hand and a lighter in the other. "You put the cigarette to your mouth, then you turn on the lighter, while breathing in." I showed her, lighting my own cigarette. She followed my hands with her eyes, doing everything simultaneously. She took her first breath through the cigarette and started coughing. "Why are you doing this to me?" She laughed and took another deep breath through the cigarette. This time she didn't cough as much, and slowly, for each breath she stopped coughing. "This is actually not that bad." She said halfway through. I smiled and nodded. "I know." We sat for a while in silence, smoking our cigarettes, looking up at the sky.

"You still haven't told me your secret?" She asked, not looking at me. My stomach turned, should I tell her? I decided against it and just smiled and said: "I've never really loved someone. You know, the big way. Not just family." She looked at me, with an almost concerned look. "Really? I'm sorry for you. It's amazing. I used to fall in love all the time." I shook my head at her. "What's changed?"
"Sorry? What do you mean?" I looked straight into her bright green eyes and said: "Why don't you fall in love all the time more?" She blushed, then looked straight back into my eyes and said: "I dare you to kiss me. Like you mean it. Like you want to swoop me off my feet." Her face turned, suddenly flirtatious and sexy. I turned out my cigarette and she did the same. I laid her down on the couch, pushing my body down over hers. My lips found her neck and I started kissing up towards her face. She moaned, just before I got to her mouth. I playfully bit her lip, before kissing her. I felt her hand grab the bottom of my t-shirt, pulling it over my head.
"I'm ready, Blake. I want you now."
