I'll Be There

“There is never a time or place for true love. It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat, in a single flashing, throbbing moment.”

2. Today

As my alarm clock woke me up from my world of dreams and I slammed down the snooze button.

The morning light pierced through my sleepy eyelids and I remembered its Saturday. "Urgghhhh" I mumbled, I forgot to turn my alarm off. I knew that I wouldnt be able to get back to sleep no matter how hard I tried so I spun my body round and placed my feet on the floor. I walked clumsily over to my mirror and frowned at the mop of golden locks on my head. My hair was in tangles and knots so I just did it up in a bun and made my way downstairs.

I walked into the kitchen to find my older sister Caitlin and her friend Emily making waffles. "Morning, Hayley!" Emily chirped happily. "Oh, morning sleepy head!" Caitlin said when she realised I was up. "Why are you guys in such a hyper mood huh?" I chuckled. "Are you serious! Hayley, tonights the One Direction concert! How could you forget!?" Caitlin almost yelled as her and Emily exchanged weird glances. "Oh right" I quickly muttered, I was a little embarrassed. As I got myself a glass of juice I sat down at the bench, listening to Caitlin and Emily chat about wht they were going to wear to the concert. I found it quite strange how they were both 21 yet still so obsessed with One Direction! I liked One Direction but I wasn't a die-hard fan like they were! I giggled when I thought of all the fangirling moments they have had together.

"So are you excited for your birthday?! Its only 3 weeks away and you will be 18!" Caitlin said excitedly. "Yeah I guess" I said back. I was glad to have such a good relationship with my sister but it was only because we only had each other to depend on because our parents were always away for work. They sent us back the money we needed, and there was plenty of it but we always missed the love and effection that other kids got from their parents. As I was shaken from my thoughts of my parents I made my way upstairs to organise what I was going to wear.
