Holding On

Rose, the word ponders around my crammed mind and all it ever picks out is the color red. Red, the color of love, anger, blood. My name is inexplainable. My life, was inexplainable, until I met him.

8. Roses Galore

"Last but not least, your bedroom!" Louis opened a white wooden door and revealed a gorgeous master bedroom. Baby pink coated the walls, with rose trim at the top. The room even smelled like roses. I laughed and shook my head.

"Extremely corny, but I love it." Louis chuckled and nodded.

"I hope it's not too...kiddish?" I had to admit, it did give the impression that I was a 9 year old girl who spent her day's licking rainbow lollipops, with an Elmo onesie on, but it was fine. I appreciated the fact that they spent their time just so the lads can make me feel at home.

Although, I wasn't quite ready to call this new environment, home.

As everyone knows, the famous quote is, "Home is where the heart is." To be honest, I don't think I have been able to track down where my home is even located. I guess you can say the rest of my heart is yet to be discovered.

"So, Rose, how about I introduce you to the boys, ey?" I pivoted around while nodding to Louis.

"I think that would be wonderful." I followed Louis out of the slender doorframe, still admiring the well-thoughtout, and detailed room.

All of the boys were lined up in a sloppy line. One was eating a hamburger, while another was checking himself out in a mirror. I was delighted to see all of the funny personalities.

"This is, Liam." Louis beckoned to a man with a brown, balled-up quiff. His hands were fixed and folded out in front of him. He looked extremely muscular, and had an adorable smile plastered onto his expression.

After 15 minutes of introducing, I was now acquaintances with all of the boys known as Niall, Liam, Harry, Zayn and of course, Louis. While I pondered around the subtle home, examining its several corridors, I felt that I was being watched.

A low voice snapped me out of my trance.

"So, I hope you like the room." I turned to see the most lovely brown curls flipping to the side of a handsome face.

"Oh, y-yea it's adora-I mean it's cool I like it!" I blushed as I looked up at Harry and became lost in a green-eyed gaze. Harry just chuckled as his cheeks redened in color.

"It's a bit childish, I know, but hey, no one else is gonna see it so..." Harry shrugged and smirked at me. "Unless you're going to have guys in and out of your bedroom!" He smiled cheekily.

I ignored Harry for the moment, still being mesmerized by his stunning eyes.

I hoped that those delicate iris's would transport me to another dimension, where I could be stress-free, sashaying through a field of wonderfully scented flowers. All different, but accepted in their own way. Growing together with nature, growing off of each other in pride. A place, where one little rose could blossom into something more beautiful than just prickers, on a stem.
