Harry saw the way Lux's fingertips moved over their names on the ice cream carton. She smiled lightly, shook her head slowly, and then shoved a big huge spoonful into her mouth. She looked over at him with puffy cheeks, chewing the cookie dough and smiling as he laughed at her. He reached over and wiped a drop of ice cream from the corner of her mouth, licking it off his fingertip and smirking at her as her eyes followed his movements.

She wanted to be that finger more than she wanted to breathe.

“What shall we watch then?” He sat back, stretching out on the couch and reaching over to her. He ran his fingers over her arm lightly, watching her fill his spoon with ice cream and bring it to his mouth.

“Don't care.” She mumbled, watching him suck the ice cream off the spoon. She cursed herself for wishing she was that spoon as well, and he raised his eyebrows smugly as if he could read her mind.

“If you say you don't care and let me choose, I'll wind up choosing porn.” He threatened, smirking slowly. Lux rolled her eyes, leaning back on the couch as well, grabbing the remote from him and flicking through the channels. She settled on an old Star Wars movie, and Harry's eyebrows raised.

“You're a secret nerd.” He stated slowly, watching her blush and shrug.

“Guess I am.” She turned to look into his eyes, giving up on using two spoons for the ice cream and instead just using his spoon. She kept her eyes locked with his as she sucked it slowly, licking the remains afterwards. He shivered visibly, forcing himself to look away from her teasing.

“I don't want this to end.” She suddenly whispered, and he looked back at her to see her staring down at the photo that was framed on the coffee table. It was of all the contestants, smiling and laughing in a group before anyone got eliminated. He could spot her immediately, smiling when he saw the laughter on her lips, her eyes shut and her hand against her chest.

“It won't.” Harry's voice was stern, and he removed the picture frame from her hands, setting it back down. “Lux, look at me. Look at me.”

She did so reluctantly, slowly raising her eyes up to his, and when she saw how close his eyes were to hers, she felt a buzz go through her body. It felt like bubbles, starting at her toes and moving up through her entire body until she felt as if she would float away. His eyes were blue right now, dark, dark blue, no hint of green to them whatsoever. It was amazing the way they changed in different settings.

He reached out and held her face in his hands, cupping her cheeks with force so she wouldn't be able to look away from him. “This is not the end for you. Even if you get sent home, it's not the end for you. You are the most talented girl I've ever known, and you're going to make it through this. Got it?”

“Yes.” She whispered, reaching her own hands up to cover his lightly. He loosened his grip on her face, allowing her to pull them down into her lap, clasping them both tight in hers.

“Besides,” He tried to smile, “how can this be the end when you and I have only just begun?”

Lux's eyes immediately filled with tears, unable to control her emotions any longer, and she closed them to hide it, turning her face away from his. “Harry..”

“Shh.” He murmured, extending his arms out to her, “Just... c'mere. Remember what I said...”

“I know. It's one night.” She sighed heavily, feeling her heart break as she crawled into his arms, laying against him. Harry's heart began to beat wildly, and she pressed her ear against his chest to listen to it, feeling as if it were her song. Just for her.

“Luxie.” He said, his voice low in her ear and his accent setting goosebumps off across her skin everywhere. Everywhere. She didn't know that she could feel something so strong just by hearing a guy's voice, but Harry proved her wrong. He made her feel like she was flying high all the time.

“Hazza.” She replied, turning her head to look directly into his eyes. Her body was laid out against his exactly, face to face, chest to chest, pelvis to pelvis.... the only difference was that Lux's legs were shorter than his, her feet stopping about four inches above his. Everything else matched up perfectly, as was expected with the two of them.

“I want you to do something for me..” His arms snaked around her waist, slowly inching his fingertips under the waistband of her shorts. She didn't object, so he moved his hands until they were in between her underwear and her shorts, pressing firmly against her butt cheeks.

“Anything.” Lux murmured, meeting his eyes again, feeling that familiar jolt go through her body, watching him smirk as if he knew what she felt around him. He did know what she felt around him, because he felt it too. He would never admit it though, he just can't admit it.

Harry tilted his head slightly, touching his nose to hers and watching her lips part slightly as she looked down at his lips. She already knew what was coming next, she was just waiting for him to ask for it.

“I want you to kiss me like its the last time.” His voice was oddly emotional, and it came out barely above a whisper, his face and eyes looking unguarded for the first time in a long time.

She felt her eyebrows pull together, watching his lips move in towards hers slowly, waiting for her to meet him halfway. Lux felt her entire body go cold, “Will it be the last time?”

His answer was a stare, a long, hard stare that made her feel unsettled and naked. She felt like he was looking straight down into her soul and ripping her apart with his eyes. When she realized that he wasn't going to give her a proper answer, she grabbed onto his chin, her pointer finger poking into his dimple lightly, and she brought her lips up to his. His hands immediately grasped her ass, pulling her down against him as tight as humanly possible, but it still wasn't close enough for either of them. Her free hand came up and held his other cheek so she was holding his face in her hands, holding his lips to hers. Even if she weren't holding him there, nothing could pry him away from her. Nothing.

A fire lit under their feet, slowly twirling its way up over their bodies, paying special attention to their lower halves, which only made them press together tighter. That fire continued to move up their bodies until it hit their lips, and Lux was the one to pry his lips apart with her tongue, tasting him fully and shaking in his arms. He moved his hands up until they were wrapped around her back, pulling her against him, working his fingers into the ends of her hair. He twisted it around his fingers like rope, but it was so silky that it slid right through, refusing to stay wrapped around them.

She felt no need or want to pull away from him, but she knew deep down that the longer she kissed him, the more intense her feelings would get, and the more he would wrap himself around her ribcage. Harry rooted himself into her heart without knowing it, and she felt him try to tug free every day, but she kept tugging back, not wanting him to go free. She wanted him to stay there, his limbs wrapped tightly around her ribs and heart, where it was safe and warm, and where he would feel the one thing he's the most scared of. Love.

The word flashed through her mind, and Lux felt herself suddenly gasping for breath, pulling from him, pulling out of his arms and back until she was at the other end of the couch. Her palm was pressed against her mouth tightly, her teeth biting into it as she bit back a scream.

No. No.

“Lux..” His voice was confused and loud as he moved into her view, reaching out to grab her. She threw her hands up in front of her, a defensive move, and he recognized the scared look on her face. Harry's had the same look on his face many times around her as well. It was like looking in a mirror. Her breathing was loud and off-hitch from their intense kissing, her hair disheveled, her lips swollen and red. She looked as if she were going to cry.

“I can't do this anymore...” She whimpered, “I can't.. this hurts too much..”

“Okay. That was selfish... I guess I shouldn't have asked for that kiss.” Harry admitted, slowly reaching for her again, and this time she let him grab onto her shoulders softly.

“You know how I feel about you, Harry...” She whispered, shaking her head slowly.

“No, actually, I don't. You've never mustered up enough courage to tell me exactly how you feel about me.” His voice turned slightly harsh as he realized this fact.

Lux's eyes whipped up to him, “Oh, because you're so courageous, right? You can't admit to me or even yourself that you have feelings for me!”

“Maybe I just don't feel anything for you, Lux! Did that possibility ever cross your mind?”

“Then why do you keep kissing me?!” She nearly yelled, scrunching her eyebrows together.

“Because you're convenient!” He shouted, his mouth and eyebrows pulled downwards in anger, his eyes darker than she's ever seen them. “You're here, and you're hot and I'm a teenager! What else did you expect, Lux? Did you expect us to fall in love and ride off into the sunset together?! I live in a different country, it was never going to happen! The thought never even crossed my mind!”

She felt her heart drop into her stomach, a feeling like nausea waving over her, and she wasn't sure that she could even breathe at that moment. She wasn't raised to be this way, she was raised to stand up to men that hurt her, and that's all Harry has been doing since day one. Sure, she's hurt him as well... but never this much, she's never gone this far.

Harry continued to toss and throw and stomp her heart until it was broken, and Lux refused to be broken any longer. So she stood up to face him, feeling her heart begin to harden into ice like his heart was, and she slapped the spit out of his mouth.
