2. Stay and see what happens

Charlotte POV

I took off from home a couple of weeks ago. I had too many secrets and couldn't keep them with the people I loved around. I had about four secrets and they were hard to keep. Then I was depressed because I had to leave my friends and Aunt so I began cutting. I had some money saved up and had bought the razors. Now the pain was where I went to get away from people.

Now that Zayn found me he had one of my two razors. And the other one I had lost so I really needed it from him. But something told me he wouldn't give it back. So now I was stuck in his flat, taking a shower.

I was going to leave soon. If he wouldn't give me the razor back I would just shop to get another one. I had to get a job first to get more money so I could rent an apartment. Then if I figured out how to cope with my secrets I might be able to go back with my family.

My parents had died when I was little; but that was part of a secret. So I had lived with my Aunt and sister. My sister was a different secret too. When I left I brought a bag with me. The bag contained some clothes, my money, and pictures. I hid the bag in a special spot so no one would find it.

I had to get back to my bag and leave Zayn. I didn't even understand why  he cared about me. I didn't even think he did. He probably just wants good publicity for his band or to make a girl fall in love with him. Or maybe he was hoping I would fall in love with him. I didn't know or care. I just had to get away.

As I climbed into the shower the rushing hot water felt amazing. I hadn't taken a shower in a while so my hair was bad and I felt dirty. The water pounded down my back and cleaned my bloody arm. I let it distract me for a while trying to piss Zayn off with a water bill. About half an hour later I turned the water off and grabbed the towel Zayn put out for me.

I made my way to the bedroom Zayn described and went inside. There was a long sleeve shirt and skinny jeans along with undergarments. I was surprised by how well everything fit me. It fit like it was just my size.

Then I put my hair in a pony tail and opened the door hesitantly. I walked down the stairs quietly and saw the jacket Zayn was wearing on a chair. I snuck over to it to look in the pockets, searching for my razor. "It's not over there," His voice called from somewhere behind me. I turned and saw him looking at me.

"I've taken a shower now give me my razor so I can leave," I growled.

        "What's your rush?" He asked.

"None of your business," I answered.

"Hi, I'm Eleanor but you can call me El," A girl said walking into view and holding her hand out to me.

"Charlotte," I replied nodding instead of shaking her hand.

"Eleanor is the one who brought you these clothes," Zayn told me.

"Thanks," I said bitterly. Eleanor was one of those people who could pry you open without even lifting a finger. I couldn't let her get close to me. But it shouldn't be too hard because I planned on leaving ASAP.

"Do you need some sleep?" Zayn asked.

          "Are you hungry?" Eleanor inquired.

"I'd rather leave. With my razor," I said. Eleanor's gaze shot to my arm. The long sleeve covered it up.

"I hate to admit it but now that Zayn has found you, he won't give up," Eleanor told me as Zayn sighed and walked off somewhere.

"Give up on what?" I asked.

"You of course. He's not going to give up on you. He believes you can pull through this," She said.

"Yeah well I plan on leaving later today," I replied. She raised her eyebrows.

"Good luck with that. Because trust me, if he has to, he'll lock you in a room so that you stay," She advised. "I would stick around for a while and see what he has to say. Or else you might regret it,"

"I'll think about it," I responded. "Where did he go anyway?" I asked.

"To get us lunch," She answered.

"Live, laugh, love; forgive and forget. Life's too short to live with regrets,"
