The first time Ava met Harry Styles. He was naked. She was naked.
After a house swop, Ava is left with the arrogant, egotistical but ever charming Harry Styles. Ava try's to resist against Harry's charm because no way is she gonna let herself fall for a player.

'That's where your wrong, sweet cheeks. The house is mine for 6 months' he bragged, his face inches away from hers. 'Besides I quite like the view from here'

Ava looked out the window.

'When I said the view I didn't mean the one outside' he whispered, his lips so close to hers. He surveyed her body and licked his lips. She stepped back, laughing loudly.

'Nice try, player' Ava sneered.

'Give me more credit then that. I'm not just a player, I'm the captain of the team' Harry winked, stepping forward to close the space between them. Ava gave a small smile before leaning in close to his face. She drew her face next to his ear.

'Nice to meet you captain, I'm the coach' she whispered before pulling her head away and leaving.

6. The food fight

*Ava's P.O.V*

'She hung up on me!' Ava mumbled to herself, astonished. She threw her hands on her head and began massaging her temples. She put the phone down on the desk in front of her, exasperated.

Anger bubbled in the pit of her stomach. Madison was discovering England and all it had to offer while Ava was holed up in her apartment with a jerk, for a roommate. She would have way preferred a puppy.

'I would have hung up on you too' a voice taunted her from the door frame of her room. She looked over to see Harry staring at her, his arms folded over his chest, leaning up on the door frame. His lean, muscular torso was exposed but his bottom section was covered with grey track pants. It's a serious improvement.

'Go away' she groaned, grabbing a pillow off her bed and launching it at him. With perfect aim, it hit him right in the head, which gave Ava some sort of satisfaction.

How did this day go so bad?

'Wow! You still think I'm the one with the severe attitude problem?' He asked. 'Because from where I'm standing the only person who is being an A-hole is you!' He turned and walked out of her room, leaving Ava to her thoughts.

She thought about his comment and to her annoyance realized he was right. She had known him for what, two days and she already filed him under the 'Total Dick' category. That was unfair of her and she was finally realizing it. She replayed the conversation in her head and she realized she didn't give her much of a chance to explain.

Her head hurt, so she crawled under the blankets and curled up in a tight ball. She flicked the light off and her eyes closed, drifting her off into a restless sleep.

'Omg! Tune' she turned her iPod volume up, playing it as loud as it would go. She hovered a frying pan over the stove and poured pancake batter into it. She heard it sizzle as she molded it into shape and held it over the heat until it was cooked. She slid it onto the plate and placed the fry pan in the down.

'Shawty had them Apple Bottom Jeans,
Boots with the fur,
The whole club was looking at her,
She hit the flo,
Next thing you know,
Shawty, got low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low' she sang as loud as she could.

This was her jam, no matter how old the track was. She flaunted her stuff around the kitchen, dancing around the floor like she owned it. She whipped her hair around, shaking her bum as she did so. She grabbed the frying pan, whisking it around in the air as she danced. She added the last of the batter and put it over the stove.

'Them baggy sweat pants
And the Reeboks with the straps
She turned around and gave that big booty a smack
She hit the flo
Next thing you know...'

She danced in time with the rhythm, bouncing around like a mad women. She hummed along with the melody, still dancing freestyle.

'Did I think I seen shorty get low, Ain't the same when it's up that close, Make it rain, I'm making it snow' she wrapped, doing the actions along with it, still holding the frying pan over the stove.

She turned around to place it on the plate when she dropped the frying pan, making it cling on the floor. Her eyes went large and she threw her self at her docking station turning the music down onto a low volume.

'How much of that did you see?' She interrogated the guy who stood before her amused. His bare chest exposed but his bottom half covered in grey track pants. His hair was unruly and stuck out in places but how was it he still looked unbelievably gorgeous?

'I saw a lot considering how short those mini shorts are' he smirked, eyeing her bum. She self-consciously pulled at the back of her shorts which had risen up during her dancing session. 'Let me say my dear, you have a definite career in music'

Ava felt her cheeks grow red and she dropped to the floor, where she busied herself with cleaning the floor. She composed her self and then jumped up, placing the frying pan into the sink.

Harry had found his way onto the kitchen stool and eyed the food sitting on the kitchen bench. She pushed the plate of pancakes in front of Harry. He eyed her suspiciously. She went to open her mouth before her eyes widened in remembrance. She rounded on the oven and threw open the door. Out wafted the smell of burnt bacon and what ever mess was beneath it. Small clouds of Black smoke puffed out of the oven and gathered itself on the ceiling.

Harry jumped from his stool and grabbed a towel, violently hitting at the smoke, to make it disappear. Ava threw the burnt contents of the oven onto the counter top and stood in defeat. The smoke began to clear and Harry eyed the charcoal remnants of supposed food that was left in the pan. They looked worse then the sloppy pancakes that had been placed upon the plate. His face broke out into a large grin, his dimples indented in his cheeks. Ava saw the dimples and she broke out into an infectious laugh.

'Ok, tell me, what is that?' Harry laughed, wearily pointing at the burnt food.

'That was bacon, sausages and tomatoes' Ava replied, pointing at each individual piece but in truth, they all looked the same, black, burnt mess. Ava ran a hand through her hair and sighed. 'It was an 'I'm sorry' breakfast'

'Well, with such an occasion as Miss Ava admitting she was wrong and I was right, I'm sure we can save this breakfast' he smirked defiantly, his body hovering close to hers.

'Oh, and how do you propose we do that?' Ava asked amused, looking at the dead bacon and the limp pancakes.

'We don't do anything!' He corrected her. 'You've done enough damage as it is'

Ava's mouth flew agape, as she squared her feet and crossed her arms.

'What you think you can do any better?' Ava challenged, stalking out of the kitchen area and on to the kitchen stool. 'Go ahead then, Chef Styles'

He chucked all the burnt food and began his process of cooking. Ava stared in awe as he finely chopped and diced, sliced and cooked, she was extremely impressed when he expertly flipped the pancakes. She wouldn't let on how impressed she was and just sat there looking bored and yawning a couple of times through his performance.

'Oh please! Anyone can flip a pancake' Ava scoffed.

'Okay, let's see you do it then?' Harry taunted, handing her the frying pan. Ava took it, always up for a challenge. She placed the batter in the pan and rounded it into a deformed circle shape. After a few moments she took it from the heat and pushed Harry out her way.

'Watch and learn, Styles' she bragged, psyching herself up to flip. She pulled back the frying pan and flung it into the air, the pancake flew through the air but to Ava's dismay it didn't come back down.

'Wow! Way to show me' Harry smirked, moving closer to her and staring up at the ceiling. 'I think it was meant to come back down into the pan, not stick to the ceiling'

'Well you know, what goes up must come down' she quoted, stepping forward so their faces were inches away. Harry craned his neck and leaned his head down in her direction. Ava was caught in the moment and her lips began to pucker, her eyes attached to his cherry red lips. She saw his muscles tense as he lowered his head and it made her swoon. He moved in lower before his face was covered in a pancake mask. Ava snapped out of her trance and burst out into a fit of laughter.

'You think that's funny, huh?' Harry grunted, ripping the sticky pancake from his face, watching as Ava clutched her side from all her laughter. 'How about this?'

Harry clutched a hand full of flour and launched his arm back. Ava's giggles ceased as she backed up slowly. She threw her arms out in front of her, as she warned him away. Harry released his aim, covering Ava in white dust. Ava's mouth fell open, as she spat flour off her tongue and scooped it from her eyes. Ava grabbed the wooden spoon off the counter and loaded it with pancake mix.

'Ava no, that's too far!' Harry shouted, as he hid his curls from the menacing spoon. Ava launched the batter at his stomach and Harry uncurled himself from the tucked up ball he had formed.

'No! This would be taking it too far' Ava declared running flour through his curls, fluffing them up a little to make sure she got them good. She had had a desire to run her hands through his curls; even if she didn't imagine it happening like this, her aspiration was fulfilled. He flicked his curls from side to side, surrounding Ava in a cloud of flour.

'Your right it was' Harry agreed, drawing nearer to her body. His face hovered over her once again but instead of giving into her urge to kiss him. She drew her lips near and just before they touched, she shoved a piece of crunchy bacon into her mouth.

'I'll give you one thing, Styles' Ava smirked, as she saw the look of shock register across Harry's face. 'You can cook'

Harry too grabbed a piece of bacon and blended it down in his mouth. Ava rolled up a pancake and stuffed it in her mouth.

'I'll take it to go' Ava claimed, licking her fingers as she finished up her pancake.

'Where you going?' Harry questioned.

'None of your business' Ava quipped.

'I must say, I'm appalled at your manners. I've been in America for 3 days now and you still haven't given me the official tour of America' Harry scolded her, his eyebrows raised.

'Well, you said you liked the view from the window' she winked, using his words against her. She turned to walk to her bedroom.

'I definitely like the view from here' he whistled, eyeing her bum in her short shorts.

'Your such a perv' she yelled, turning around and pulling down her shorts. 'If you stop being a jerk, maybe, you can come'

Harry's smile turned up on one side, into a seductive playful grin. Ava smiled brightly but hid it by turning from him. Ava bounded across the apartment and just before she left the room she called out to Harry, 'Stop staring!'

'Girl, I ain't staring' Harry replied, putting on a ghetto tone of voice, making her laugh.

Ava turned around just before she exited the room, just in time to catch Harry staring at her tiny shorts.

'Sure, You weren't staring' she nodded sarcastically before exiting to her bedroom.

'Hurry the hell up or I'm pulling my invite' Ava yelled through the corridor at Harry, who was still in the bathroom.

Ava decided she might as well do something productive, if she had to wait for his lazy ass. She busied herself with cleaning up the mess, that was apparently her kitchen. It looked like a flour bomb had exploded and completely destroyed it. She sighed deeply at the impending mess before her phone flashed to life. She looked at the caller ID.

She had two options. One was tackle the mess which was the kitchen and the other was face the mess made with her best friend. From this angle the kitchen still seemed the bigger mess. She picked up the call.

'Hi' she said nervously.

'Hey Ava, I just want to say...' Madison began, her voice sounding shaky down the phone line.

'No, you don't have to say anything' Ava replied. 'I know I was a total jerk to you yesterday and I wanted to say I was sorry for acting like a two year old'

'So are we back to being best Friends?' Madison squealed excitedly, relief evident in her tone.

'Sweetie, we never left being best friends' Ava assured her, she opened her mouth to say something but was interrupted by a deep voice.

'I'm nearly ready, you better not leave yet!' Harry yelled out to the kitchen.

'Already left!' Ava answered sarcastically, covering the phone's ear piece. 'Now shut up! I'm on the phone'

'Who was that sexy sounding guy?' Madison questioned inquisitively.

'You may need your ears checked then' Ava scoffed at the remark. She raised her voice louder so Harry could hear her next words. 'No that's just my temporary roommate who is: impossibly annoying, his attitude is intolerable, his whole presence is insufferable and he is making me late'

'Sound's like someone has a crush' Madison singed through the phone. 'Because behind those words were these: he is an incredibly sexy sex god, with gorgeous hair and stunner good looks'

'Girl, you really do need your ears checked because that description would not come out of my mouth unless we were talking about Channing Tatum' Ava tutted.

'Ready!' Harry interrupted. 'Loved your speech by the way. Described your very being perfectly' Harry smiled sarcastically and walked out into her full view.

'I gotta go, babe' Ava called, frantically searching the sofa for her car keys. 'Call you later?'

'Yeah sure!' Madison replied. 'Have fun with Mr Sexy'

With that Ava hung up, rolling her eyes. She pulled her hand from the side of the sofa, still searching for her keys. She looked up to see Harry.

'Seriously, all that time and that's all you've done' Ava reprimanded.

Harry wore a baggy grey t-shirt with a heart covering the pocket, dark blue jeans and a pea green beanie pulled over his curls. Ava eyed his outfit and came to the conclusion that he looked unbelievably good looking in the beanie he was wearing.
'Sorry but perfection takes time' Harry smirked, pulling his beanie off, shaking out his curls and then tugging his beanie back on. His hair flick mesmerized Ava but she snapped out of it and laughed sarcastically.

'Yeah, hardly. You can't actually tell me that took 45 minutes to do' Ava scoffed, pointing at his outfit.

'Ouch Ava, that really hurt in here' Harry cried, clutching at the place his heart was. 'And for that, I'm going to drive today'

'Good luck with that, I can't find the keys' Ava jeered, taking the drawers apart in search.

'You mean these one's' he took a metal key chain with attached keys from his back pocket and flaunted them in her face.

'Your not driving' Ava said sternly, holding her hand out to receive the keys.

He smirked at her before sprinting out the door and flying down the stairs. Ava sighed and began on his tail, in hot pursuit.
