The first time Ava met Harry Styles. He was naked. She was naked.
After a house swop, Ava is left with the arrogant, egotistical but ever charming Harry Styles. Ava try's to resist against Harry's charm because no way is she gonna let herself fall for a player.

'That's where your wrong, sweet cheeks. The house is mine for 6 months' he bragged, his face inches away from hers. 'Besides I quite like the view from here'

Ava looked out the window.

'When I said the view I didn't mean the one outside' he whispered, his lips so close to hers. He surveyed her body and licked his lips. She stepped back, laughing loudly.

'Nice try, player' Ava sneered.

'Give me more credit then that. I'm not just a player, I'm the captain of the team' Harry winked, stepping forward to close the space between them. Ava gave a small smile before leaning in close to his face. She drew her face next to his ear.

'Nice to meet you captain, I'm the coach' she whispered before pulling her head away and leaving.

5. Ouch!

*Madison's P.O.V*

'Oh my FRIKEN god' Madison grunted, as she unsuccessfully tried to yank her suitcases through the door. She let out a sigh and threw her hand luggage through to the lobby of her new; but temporary apartment. The door swung shut and she glared at it with as much hatred as she could muster. She kicked the door open and grabbed both suitcases and went to run through the door. She struggled through and headed over to the elevator. As she drew near she read the sign pinned up across the doors: out of order.

Well, that's just perfect.

Her apartment was one of the very top ones, which meant she had to drag her suitcases up at least 5 flights of stairs. She started her trek pulling her heavy suitcases up the first flight. She finally made it up the first flight but when she tugged on her suitcase, it became stuck, sending her flying back down the stairs. She tumbled until her head was flung to the hard ground. Her head hit hard against the floor and her vision went blurry; she felt for the top of her head. She brought her fingers to her face and red, sticky blood coated them.

A sudden panic took over her, before her eyes fluttered shut and she just lay there for what felt like years, before she was awoken by someone shaking her by the shoulders. She pried her eyes open to find a gorgeous guy's face hovering just above hers. His brown tousled hair, looked windswept and perfect. He looked down at her, his flawless features looked worried and she could hear a faint echo of his voice.

'Am I dead? Are you an angel?' She whispered. 'I was good. I swear. Did I make it in to heaven?' She babbled, searching her surrounding for a big golden gate titled heaven.

He gave a slight laugh before tucking her body up against his chest and heaving her up. He cradled her there; her head leaning on his shoulder.

'I think you need to lie down' he told her. 'Do you live here?'

'Umm... I don't know kind sir, all I remember was milking my cow before father told me I was too marry. I said father I can't possibly marry, I'm all but 18' she mumbled, her voice muffled into the guys jacket.

'Great, your delirious' he said, making his way up the stairs. 'Ok, I'm Louis Tomlinson and I'm going to take you up to my apartment and call a doctor'

'Oh, Sir Louis, I don't think my father would approve of me visiting a young man's bed chambers' she flushed, putting on a very shrill and terrible British accent, pretending she was from a different century.

'But I guess... If you think... It would...' She trailed off, her eyes slowly closing and her body felt limp in his arms.

'Hey now, come on stay with me' he told her firmly, throwing open his door and setting her down on the couch.

She tossed and turned on the couch, mumbling to her self. Louis pulled out his phone and dialed the number for their private doctor. He assured Louis that he would be there soon and for him to keep her talking.

'You got it, Doc. Hurry though, she's kinda crazy' Louis affirmed, unsure wether it was an affect of the injury or just her in general.

'Hey what kinda food you want? I mean we could get... Who is that?' A pale, British guy asked as he walked in the open door.

'Niall, perfect. Keep her talking. I'll go grab her suitcase and stuff and wait for the doctor. Try find out her name or any details' Louis answered, clapping him on the back as he rushed down the stairs, taking them two at a time.

'Hi, I'm Niall and who are you?' He asked, kneeling next to the couch she was lay on.

'Oh why, how rude of me to not have introduced myself. I am princess Madison from the far away town of America,' she rambled, still keeping her bad English accent. 'You know if my father knew about this he would be awfully disappointed'

'We wouldn't want that now would we? You said you were from America?' He asked, more interested in the information but playing along with her charade.

'Oh, good lord no. I'm from the town of America. My people live less than approximately...' - she stuck her tongue out the side of her mouth in concentration and began trying to work a sum out in her head- ' ...approximately 5,396 miles away, give or take a few'

Niall looked astonished and was still no further to figuring anything out. He looked wide eyed at her for a while before she snapped him out of his shock.

'Catch me, fair knight' she sighed, throwing a hand to her head and launching herself off the couch and into his arms. 'Oh, loving knight, you caught me in your arms, we are too be wed at sun down.'

'God Niall, you were meant to look after her, not seduce her' Louis grumbled, helping the girl clamber back on to the Couch. The doctor tailed in behind him and got to work, sitting next to the girl on the couch. He found a torch in his bag and shone it in her eyes, to check her reaction.

'Can you tell me your name?' He spoke softly and patiently, giving her a trusting smile.

'Madison, kind sir' she answered, smiling back at him.

'You hit your head! Can you remember what happened?' He asked, now examining the wound at the back of her head. Dried blood had matted her blonde hair to her scalp but the wound had stopped bleeding. Her face lit up in confusion, as she tried to recall what happened.

'No, I just remember waking up to the face of an angel but he didn't take me to heaven,' she replied, seeming severely disappointed.

'The angel, yeah, that's me' Louis smirked, giving them a winning smile and fixing up his hair. The doctor rolled his eyes and turned to the boys.

'She is severely concussed but there doesn't seem to be any interior bleeding, but I would like to stitch her head up at the hospital though' he confirmed, the boys heads nodded in seriousness.

'I can drive her down' Louis volunteered and assumed his position to cradle her in his arms again.

'Alright, I'll meet you at the hospital' the doctor nodded his head in approval and swiftly exited, heading for his car.

Hushed voices sounded all around her and she let out a soft groan. Her head pounded and her breath hitched in her throat, as the agonizing pain shot through her. She rolled heavily onto her side and her eyes flitted open and on her right was a guy, who felt familiar to her but she couldn't place him. He gave her a soft smile and she returned it with her own. She pulled her self up and automatically the boy rushed to her side and supported her arm, pulling her up to a sitting position.

She absorbed the rest of the room, which suddenly took her off guard. Two other boys were staring at her with concern.

'Who are you?' She whimpered, her throat hoarse.

'You remember me? I'm the angel who rescued you!' Louis smiled slyly and winked in her direction.

'Unfortunately, I remember. I'm so sorry for what ever I was saying to you. I was out of it' she apologized, her cheeks growing red at her recollection of the previous scene.

'That's unfortunate for Niall. You guys were apparently supposed to be wed at sundown' Louis laughed, Niall who sat across the room flushed red too.

'OMG, I can't believe I said that' she groaned, throwing her hands to her head in embarrassment. Louis was at her side again, taking her hands in his and pulling them from her head. She stared at his bright, sea green eyes and suddenly became very self conscious.

'Don't touch your head, you just had stitches' he told her seriously, placing her hand by her side and perching himself beside her on the bed.

'Doc, says she can go home' a boy blurted, as he ran into the room. She tore her eyes away from Louis's face to find a good looking guy standing in the room.

'That's good! Thanks Liam' Louis addressed the boy who came through the door, naming him Liam. Liam strode to the side of the bed.

'How you doing? I'm Liam' he said soothingly, taking her hand and shaking it. She stared at him wide eyed, finding it a lot to take in. Four absolutely, breathtakingly gorgeous guys were in the same room as her.

'Ok, so Madison, we kept you in for observations and stitched up your head. You sprained your ankle, so it's going to be very sore and you don't want to put your weight on it. But apart from that, you're all set to return home' a man informed her as he walked through the hospital door. He leant over to address Louis. 'You might want to keep an eye on her though. Keep her talking for a while, just to make sure she's fine. Don't let her do anything too straining and she shouldn't become distressed otherwise she could pass out. At around say... Nine o'clock she should take these pills and that will cause her to become drowsy and she should be asleep within half an hour'

Louis nodded as he took the pills from the doctor and pocketed them. Louis slung an arm around her waist and supported her from the bed.

'Zayn, can you tell management that I won't be able to make it to the meeting' he spoke, addressing a sexy, tanned guy who had sat in the corner looking from a distance.

'But, your the one who set this meeting up. They expect you to be there. What do you want me to do or...' Zayn opposed but was shut up by Louis's harsh tone.

'Figure it out' it was apparent to Madison that there was some underlying tension between Zayn and Louis but she wasn't willing to bring it up.

The boys all filed out of the room, leaving Louis and Madison left in the room. He still held her around the waist but made no attempt at leaving.

'We should wait for the boys to go first' Louis assured her, noticing her confused facial features.

'What! Why?' She asked.

'Umm... Because' he replied, not giving Madison much insight. He released her waist and strode over to the window. Madison hobbled up behind him and caught sight of a large group of people and an explosion of camera flashes. Louis herded her backward and shielded her view of the window.

'What was that? Is there a celebrity in the building?' She queried, trying to peer over his shoulder.

'Yeah, something like that. Have you seen the gardens?' He asked, placing his arm around her again and escorting her out of the room.

'No, why?' She asked, annoyed at the change of subject.

'Well then, we should go out the back entrance and take a stroll through the gardens' he instructed, steering the way.

'I won't be doing much strolling with my busted ankle' she replied. He laughed beneath her and tightened his grip. Madison smiled and turned to look at him. She was awed by the sight and continued to stare, until she was caught out in the act, as he peered over at her. She smiled sheepishly and looked away but he just continued their conversation as if nothing ever happened.

'I still don't understand why you insisted on taking ever back door out of the hospital and then take ever dark back street you possibly could' she stated hobbling up the stairs, supported by Louis.

'It was... A game' Louis assured her, dragging her with him up the stairs of the apartments.

'A game?' She sneered. 'Do I look twelve to you?'

'Well, you didn't say no to the free lollipop that the doctor gave you, now did you?' He jeered, poking her side.

'Point proven' she admitted, letting him win this one. He smiled and led her into his apartment. He sat her down on the sofa and plonked himself down next to her.

'Im tired, I might just lie down' she announced, hitting the pillow to make it comfortable for her head.

'No!' Louis told her. 'Doctor says you need to stay awake and to keep ya talking'

'Ok...So what do you want to talk about?' She asked shrugging her shoulders and making herself comfortable in a sitting position.

'Let's start with, where do you live?' Louis inquired, settling down next to her.

'Good question. Well in this building I think. Number....24' Madison replied.

'Your the one who swopped houses with Harry' Louis said incredulous, making sense of everything now.

'Yeah! Did you know him?' She asked.

'Yeah, he's like my best friend!' Louis confirmed, a sloppy smile on his face after thinking about his best friend.

'Wow, small world' Madison stated

'Or small apartment; me being your neighbour and all' Louis added. 'Did you want a drink? Tea?'

'That would be lovely, thank you' Madison nodded graciously. Louis stood up and walked into the kitchen area, to turn the kettle on. The apartment set up was all open plan and the only thing separating the living room and the kitchen, was the kitchen counter. As soon as he had moved from the sofa, Madison took the opportunity to stretch out on the length of the sofa, her legs out stretched.

Five minutes later, Louis came back in with two cups of tea and set them on the coffee table in front of them. Madison went to move her legs but Louis caught them and laid them across his lap. She gently smiled and her cheeks flushed pink at the close proximity.

'Your very trusting of people' he stated. 'I mean you were all but willing to sit here in my apartment. I mean for all you know, I could be a crack addict who has just been released from jail'

'Well, least you were released out of prison and didn't escape' she laughed. 'Or maybe you are an escaped convict and the photographers at the hospital were waiting for you and you used your friends as a diversion'. Her soft laugh rung from her petite body but suddenly stopped as she saw Louis's face.

'I was joking' she said, her face stern. Louis cracked a small smile, but not a very convincing one.

'Well, there's something I should tell you' Louis began, seeing Madison's eyebrows knit together and her body went rigid. 'You were kind of half right. I mean I'm not an escaped convict or anything but...'

He was interrupted when a Kim Possible ringtone went off.

'Call me, beep me, if you wanna reach me'

Madison quickly grabbed for it, leaning on the coffee table to quickly silence it, embarrassed about the ring tone. She checked the caller ID and found it to be Ava.

'I gotta take this' she said apologetically to Louis, who nodded and went to tidy up the kitchen area of the apartment.

'Hey Ava, how are you girl?' She sang down the phone.

'Where have you been?' Ava's angry tone sounded through her phone.

'What do you mean?' Madison grew worried, as she knew exactly what she meant. Ava had found out she wasn't in America anymore.

'I mean, I've been trying to call you like all day' Ava announced her anger dissipating slightly.

'Oh, yeah sorry, I was watching movies, just got so caught up' Madison lied, gritting her teeth because she new she was a terrible liar.

'Oh yeah, how was the inflight movie?' Ava asked sarcastically. 'Was plane food good? Because you know, I wouldn't know because my best friend forgot to mention that she invited a complete stranger into our home, only to go off gallivanting around FRIKEN England.

'Ava, it's not like that' Madison started, a silent tear fell down her cheek. Louis noticed it and immediately came to her defense but she waved him away.

'Oh! So you mean to say you didn't forget, you just purposefully kept it from me. I came home to find, not my best friend but an egotistical, arrogant A-hole with a severe attitude problems' Ava shrieked down the phone her anger rising again.

Madison's tears were coming down fast now and her head began to pound. Her surroundings were becoming fuzzy and she was getting very dizzy. Louis noticed her disorientation and rushed to her side, slipping the phone she was holding, from her hand.

'Im sorry but Madison is unable to talk at the moment. Maybe try again tomorrow. Please leave a message after the beep' Louis mimicked the voice of the message bank operators. 'BEEEEEEEPPPP'

With that he hung up and turned her phone on silent. He put a hand to her head feeling her temperature. Madison lay on the sofa her tears falling hard and fast.

'Why are you doing this for me? I don't even know you' Madison whined, snuffling into the sleeve of her shirt. He ignored her question.

'Hey, come on now darling. The doctor said not to stress, so stop those tears' he whispered, wiping away at her face. She smiled gratefully up at him. She pulled her self up so she was sitting and he got up from the floor and sat next to her. He extended his arm and she fell into his grasp.

'Here, have this' he said, thrusting the tablets into her hand. 'I'll get you some water'

'No, it's okay. I can't go to sleep without a cup of tea' she murmured, taking the tablet with her semi-warm tea.

Louis wound his arm around her shoulders and she lay her head on his chest. She found her eyelids getting heavy and drooping to a close. Louis sat beneath her and as she closed her eyes and went to sleep, he shuffled slightly to her dismay. She unconsciously grabbed at his shirt pulling him closer to her. He smiled at her vulnerability and lay her head in his lap, using the pillow to support her head. He stroked the side of her face gently, lulling her into a deep and comfortable sleep.
