The first time Ava met Harry Styles. He was naked. She was naked.
After a house swop, Ava is left with the arrogant, egotistical but ever charming Harry Styles. Ava try's to resist against Harry's charm because no way is she gonna let herself fall for a player.

'That's where your wrong, sweet cheeks. The house is mine for 6 months' he bragged, his face inches away from hers. 'Besides I quite like the view from here'

Ava looked out the window.

'When I said the view I didn't mean the one outside' he whispered, his lips so close to hers. He surveyed her body and licked his lips. She stepped back, laughing loudly.

'Nice try, player' Ava sneered.

'Give me more credit then that. I'm not just a player, I'm the captain of the team' Harry winked, stepping forward to close the space between them. Ava gave a small smile before leaning in close to his face. She drew her face next to his ear.

'Nice to meet you captain, I'm the coach' she whispered before pulling her head away and leaving.

10. Flying high

*AVA's P.O.V*

'Yes, I understand the car is severely damaged but isn't there anything you can do to fix it!' Ava pleaded, head in her hands.

'To be honest miss, it was a piece of junk before the crash, now it's just a squashed piece of junk' the mechanic sounded on the end of the phone line.

Ava screwed her face up in anger and rubbed her temples in a circle motion.

'Ok, fine, thanks a lot' she said in a clipped voice, trying so hard to just let it go. She slammed the phone on the desk and sat in contemplation. That car was her parents and she didn't want to let it go. She knew it was stupid to hold on to material things but she found it hard to let go. She knew it was time. Her parents had left this world for a better one 6 months ago, and so she had to begin the healing process.

Starting with Harry.

She had been giving him the silent treatment for the past three weeks. A week after the accident he apologized profusely in which Ava refused to listen to and ignored him. He slowly caught on and let her be. If Ava was completely honest with herself, she missed Harry. Alot. They weren't exactly friends before, but she could feel herself warming up to him. Of course there was also the hot physical attraction between her and Harry. His vibrant green eyes, his defined and elongated torso, his sexy, messy curls which he flicks out of his face to reveal his sexy eyes again, a vicious circle of good looks.

She got up from her chair and took a deep breath. She braced her self for the impending conversation and strutted out of the room. As she was closing in on the living room, she heard a voice say her name. It was a quiet chirp but it was definitely the voice of Madison. Madison her best friend, who she had also but space between them for the last three weeks.

What was she doing talking to Harry?

A male voice appeared in the conversation, a strong British accent threaded through his words.

'How's she doing mate?' The male voice asked in reference to Ava. She remembered when Madison had been talking about this guy. Louis was it?

'Lou, I told you! She refuses to speak to me and guess what I like it much better this way. I don't have her annoying voice around any more' Harry dismissed the subject of Ava, as he rolled his eyes.

Ava stood up from her position of being perched behind the slightly opened door in the hall way and was about to march out when she thought better of it. She would probably be better off listening to the rest, in case her name was mentioned again.

'Hey! Excuse me... That's my best friend your talking about here. Could you not?' Madison defended Ava. It made Ava smile, that her best friend still stuck up for her even though she had been such a cow lately.

Ava peered her head round the door and saw The back of Harry's head the mop of curls sat perfectly in place and he bent his head over an iPad. On the iPad screen were Louis and Madison sitting close together on a couch. In the corner of the screen was the Skype logo.

'Well, maybe you should tell your friend to get over herself. I offered to buy her another car, Hell, she could take mine if she wanted' Harry spat, being the one to have to defend himself.

'Thats not the point' Madison said.

'Yeah, you know what's a good point. How cute a couple you guys make. Your pretty close on that couch, Tomlinson' Harry answered smug, watching them move slightly apart on the sofa.

'Your a pig' Madison replied. 'And we're not a couple'

Ava silently applauded Madison in her head and peeked her head round the door. Madison had left the computer screen and leaving Louis to talk to Harry.

'So we had a meeting with Simon' Louis started, his tone taking on a serious note. 'He is not happy'

Ava sat puzzled over who Simon was. A uncle? Father?

'I don't give a crap about him' Harry replied, although it was evident he did, as he squirmed uncomfortably in his seat.

'Yeah, we'll mate, did you ever stop to think that we are the ones to get all the bull from him' Louis countered. 'We are coming to America in one week to promote the album, something you would know if you stuck around. We can't promote an album with a band member missing, it doesn't work like that'

'Fine, when your in America, I'll be at the event' Harry responded in a quieter voice.

'Not good enough Harry. We can't have everything being awkward. You've got enough bad publicity as it is' Louis retorted, anger making it's way.

'Bad publicity! You wanna talk to me about bad publicity. What's this about you punching paps, huh mate?' Harry replied, keeping his cool but his voice rising.

'You wanna know why I punched him? He was talking crap about you mate, so I hit him to shut him up! I'm sorry that I stuck up for you, next time ill just let them post shit about you' Louis retaliated. He took a breath and his eyes softened, as well as his tone.

'Mate, I'm coming to see you now. I'm flying a week early to sort stuff out. And stop being a dick to Ava, she's been through a lot' Louis said more resolved and final.

'I'm glad your coming mate, I've needed you these past couple of weeks. What do you know about Ava that I don't?' Harry questioned, curiosity getting the better off him.

'Im not meant to say but her parents were killed six months ago in a car crash. What makes it worse was that she was in the car too but she walked away with only a couple of scratches. Don't bring it up though! I wasn't meant to tell you' Louis told Harry, reliving the horrors of Ava's past.

Ava slid her back down the wall and curled up in a ball. A small tear fell down her cheek and she just let it remain, rather then wipe it away. She tucked her legs under her body and waited to compose herself again.

'Crap! Ok man, I'll sort it! Call me when you land, 'kay' Harry confirmed. Louis nodded and waved before the line went dead. Harry put the iPad down on the couch and stood up.

Ava could hear movement and she wiped her cheek clean. She rounded the corner and she saw Harry's features soften. This is exactly want she didn't want. She didn't want pity. Although at that particular moment, she wanted more then ever, to run in his arms and just be held up by his muscle body. She fought the urge of course.

'Before you say anything, I just want to tell you to say nothing. I'm sorry I was a jerk to you but frankly you deserved it. I don't want your pity or your sympathy, I just want everything to be okay between us' Ava spluttered, speaking in rapid fire. She took a breath and waited for his reply.

'Ava, I'm sor-' Harry began but was cut off by Ava.

'No Harry! Don't be sorry! Don't feel bad because you didn't feel bad before. I just want everything to be normal and I just want it to be okay' she sighed exasperated. She could feel tears well up but she blinked them back.

He stepped forward, so close he could reach out and touch her.

'Ok' Harry agreed. She stared up at him, his eyes staring down at her with fierce intensity. 'Do you want to talk about it?'

He looked so sincere. His face was highlighted by the sun, it glistened against the light. His eyes shine bright and intense. His muscles were stiff and clenched. She ran her fingertips along his arm and it immediately relaxed. She knew she shouldn't do it but she had to. Every fibre of her body was telling her to do it. So she snaked her hand up to his face and plunged her lips against his. At first he was taken aback, but soon responded with as much fire and passion. He pulled her back and pushed her up against the wall, taking her body in his arms. He leant his hands by either side of her head and stared deeply at her face.

Ava had thought this was a good idea but suddenly decided not so much. She ducked under his arm and ran towards the door. And then she was gone.
