11. Secret Park

Sydney's POV
Harry just left. We had breakfast, and he said he'd be gone for a few hours. I packed some clothes, put the note on the kitchen counter, grabbed my keys and left. If he really loved me, he'd know where I'll be.

Harry's POV
After about half the day with Lou, I decided to go home. I picked up some roses, and some Italian food, and headed back to the flat. There was no noise when I walked in, so I figured she was asleep. I quietly walked into the bedroom, but she wasn't there. I checked every single room in this flat, and no sign of Sydney. I called Louis. "Sydney's missing!" Tears were forming in my eyes. "Did she leave a note?" That's when I remembered the piece of paper on the counter. "I'll call you back!" I ran to the kitchen, and picked up the note.
Dear Harry,
I've written this letter a thousand times, trying to get the words right. I saw you cheat on me, the first night we went clubbing. It was in front of my eyes, and yet you still didn't see. I don't know who she is, and I don't care. I just hope you're happy. I decided now was the perfect time to leave, since you're gone. If you really love me, you'll know where I'll be, and you'll come after me. I still love you.
I called Lou right after. "She found out!" I told him. "No, she knew!" He replied. I said a quick goodbye to him, and read it one more time. I thought about all the places we went when we were younger, and I knew exactly where she'd be.

Sydney's POV
"Anne?" I called her. "Hey! How are you?" She replied. "I'm fine. Can I come over?" "Of course! What's wrong?" She asked. "I'll explain when I get there. I'll be there in five minutes. I had been driving for an hour when I came into the familiar town. I pulled into the drive, and grabbed my bag, and walked inside. Anne greeted me with a hug and told me to explain. "Harry cheated on me, and I've been trying to act like nothing happened, and so I needed to know that he still cares." She was shocked. "So I'm going to our place, and I'm going to wait for him." She nodded, and handed me a jacket. I walked. When we were ten, we found a secret park. We told our parents about it, but never where it was. I sat on the swing, just hoping he would find me.

Harry's POV
I drove to the park. I was hoping she would be here. If she wasn't here, then I would check our houses, but these are the only places she would be. When we were kids, we'd come here to think, we'd come here to tell each other things, this was our home. I walked through the hedges. She was there, sitting on a swing. Head down, and I could see her chest moving rapidly to show me she was crying. I sang slowly, and softly. "I was so stupid for letting you go. But I-I-I know you're still the one. You might have moved on, but girl you should know, that I-I-I know you're still the one." She turned around, startled. The tears stopped falling, and a smile started to bloom. She slowly got off the swing, and ran to me. I opened my arms out and she jumped into them, wrapping her legs around my waist. She started crying again. "Hey! Hey! Hey! Why are you crying?" I asked. "I can't believe you actually came after me!" She cried. "Well of course! I was drunk that night, and I'm so sorry. Being drunk is no excuse, but I'm sorry. Next time I mess up, and we all know there's going to be a next time!" She giggled. "But will you please tell me, so we can work this out?" She nodded. She was still wrapped around me. "I love you with all my heart. I love you more than life. You are my life, and you are my world, and I love you so much!" I told her. She blushed. "Harry, I love you too! You mean the world to me, and you make me happy. I love you too!" She replied. She unwrapped her legs from me and got down. "How'd you get here?" I asked her. "Umm... I took your other car." She said innocently. I just smiled. "Well, now we both have a lonely ride home." She frowned. "I guess I didn't think that through. Can we stay here tonight? I'm tired!" She asked. I nodded, placing her in the car. She fell asleep, before I could even get in the drivers side.
