Mission Impossible

This was the moment. It was her chance to go out into this world. Thoughts of Impossiblities remained in corners of her mind. This was the part of her that wasn't sure about this plan, but it was worth taking a risk. Could she? Would she? This world was too advanced for her, and so was this mission.

6. Servant Boy

The storm came to a stop. Sowell and I kept walking, but at a faster speed. I could hardly wait to see the ending of this mission. Sowell gave a look that told me to prepare myself, he was going to a certain question. Yes, I would answer, but I must lie.  I wanted to tell him, but I couldn’t. I just met him off a sidewalk! I tried to think wisely. I took a glance at the guy. He was pretty kind, but I stuck to my own will.

“So what are we solving?” he questioned

                                               “A secret,” I muttered

                              "My-my sister's, umm information,"  I resumed

“So, what’s your sisters name?” he inquired

                                            “Aaliyah,” I replied

He looked at me and I looked at him. He showed a bigger smile. We stopped walking. He was on my left, so he wrapped his arm around me. I smiled. I was beginning to remember dad’s story. I began to feel sorrow. A tear fell from my eye. He took his arm of me and instead, he offered a hug. I needed it. This moment was really dramatic.

Sowell's head dropped down. He had no words. It couldn't have been my fault, could it? I had a feeling that said to make him feel better, after all, he did help me at the sidewalk we were at an hour ago. I started to think about my mom and dad. Sowell's posture reminded me of myself. But I was far away from home, I couldn''t possibly think about them now. I was in a moment where my dreams were about to come true, or at least my parent's dream.

                                         "Sowell, you alright?" I wondered

                                           "Yes and no, but- no,"

                                         "Tell me, what happened,"

"I-I was once a slave for a girl named Aaliyah,"

                                             "That's terrible!"

"Come with me, I want to show you something,"

"Alrighty then, but make it quick,"

                                            "Sure Lena, sure,"
