Mission Impossible

This was the moment. It was her chance to go out into this world. Thoughts of Impossiblities remained in corners of her mind. This was the part of her that wasn't sure about this plan, but it was worth taking a risk. Could she? Would she? This world was too advanced for her, and so was this mission.

2. "One for All, All for One!"

The door creaked. I sighed. I felt dramatic. I turned slowly. Mom stood there smiling and crying. She wiped her tears gently. I could see in her eyes she was picturing the moment my sister and I were separated. I began to feel bad for her. We cried together. I rushed to her side and hugged her.

“It’s gonna be alright,” I whispered

She looked up at my face. She started to wipe the tears off my cheeks. I did the same. I cared for my mom a lot. “One for All, All for One” was our little motto. I would do anything to make my mom happy, but in a moment like this, it’s going to take sometime.

The room began to smell like fire. It caught mom’s attention. She rushed down the stairs crossing her fingers hard.

“Please don’t, please don’t, please don’t!” mom yelled

When she was at the kitchen, she turned off the stove. My heart pounded. Thank the Lord, nothing happened to our home.

“Well, I guess our dinner died,” mom laughed

                                               “Oh mom,” I giggled

Mom took out a can of beans and microwaved it. It’s better than burned dinner at least. I didn’t have time to complain. I was too concerned about our safety. If that’s what my mom serves then so be it! I tried to distract myself from being so scared, but nothing helped. In about fifteen minutes later, dad came home.

“Wait ‘till he smells this,” mom snorted

                                          “R.I.P dinner,” I shrugged
