Mission Impossible

This was the moment. It was her chance to go out into this world. Thoughts of Impossiblities remained in corners of her mind. This was the part of her that wasn't sure about this plan, but it was worth taking a risk. Could she? Would she? This world was too advanced for her, and so was this mission.

8. Family Reunion

Sowell was happy for us as well. He supported us. After an hour of chit-chatting with Aaliyah, Sowell called a taxi driver. We could hardly wait for future moments together back home. I could imagine the look on their faces.

                                              "Finally, I-I found you!"

The taxi finally came. I grabbed Aaliyah's hand and hopped into the car. Sowell sat in the front. The taxi man was the same guy who took us to the kingdom.

                                    "I'm so EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!" I yelled

In about Three hours later, we came home. We had to pay the driver a hundred dollars and sixty-nine cents. It was worth it. I looked at Aaliyah and smiled. She was nervous. She wanted her old, supposed to be life back. Sowell opened our door, we walked together, side by side. Aaliyah door belled slowly. When she let go of the bell, she sighed. Sowell was nervous too. My parents didn't know him!

At last, the door opened, it was mom. She looked at me, Sowell, then at my sister.

                                     "No way, Aaa-Aaliyah?" she whispered

"Mom, it's me. I'm home now," Aaliyah said

Mom screamed with laughter and cried at the same time. I was too happy for them. I wasn't really concerned about my consequences now. Mom took a hold of Aaliyah and wrapped her tight. within a minute or two, dad stepped in the room. His face shocked. He ran leaping higher and higher. This was our special moment. Mom looked at me in tears. She thanked me and of course, punished me.

On the other hand, Sowell was last. Mom looked at him strange then at me. She winked. Sowell smiled at  my mom, and she did the same to him. She took us inside. Sowell and I went outside instead. We shut the door and hugged.

"It's been great hanging with you," he said

"Lena, will you-?" he asked, but inturrupted

Dad stood there. He winked at him.

"GO ahead son, go on," he suggested

"YES Sowell I will," I whispered

"Fine by me. WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!" dad greeted

This was great. Our dreams came true. Especially Sowell's.....
