Maturity is a Choice

{Sequel to Age Is Just A Number}

It's been two and a half years since Ski became One Direction's photographer and Harry's new girlfriend. She's now seventeen, turning eighteen and she can now tell the press her and Harry are dating once eighteen. Also, the boys are going on tour in America and the boys and Ski are very excited but what happens when Ski gets jealous about all the girls Harry keeps hanging with, and Niall starts drinking to hide his feelings, and when Zayn finds a girlfriend that only wants his fame and money? Why don't you read to find out?

3. Let The Games Begin

"Psst, Ski wake up, we're here." I heard his thick Irish accent say. I rubbed my eyes, clearing up my blurry vision. I was still on the plane and the boys were up stretching their legs and arms. Niall still sat next to me looking at me. His intense gaze made me uncomfortable.

I got up and stretched myself hopefully making him take his eyes off of me.

Wow, that was a long plane ride. I gathered my luggage from up top and dragged them to the front of the plane door.

"Let me help you miss." a cute boy with ruffled light brown hair and brown eyes came over wearing a suit. He seemed to be around my age. He picked up my luggage, which in my opinion was really heavy, with no problem. Cute and strong? Let's just see if he has a good personality.

"Why thank you kind sir." I said making a curtsy to him. He bowed and let out a small chuckle that was the cutest thing ever. Don't get me wrong, I love Harry's laugh. It's the type that you would only laugh because of Harry's laugh. It's loud but adorable. But this boy had something about him that made me keep an eye out.

"Anything for a beautiful lady."

I blushed at him using the word 'beautiful'. Especially considering, my hair is really messed up and my clothes wrinkly from the long plane ride.

He exited the plane right when I felt a huge pair of hands wrap around my waist and pulled me from behind,
"Hello beautiful." he whispered into my ear sleepily. Guys voice + just woke up = sexiest voice on the planet.

"Hi Harry." I turned around and pulled him in for our first kiss in America.

I let him take my hand and lead me out the plane. The sun was shining and it was absolutely hot. Good thing I wore a light shirt and not a sweater of some sort. It semeed like it was early in the morning by the looks of it.

"Come on," he pulled me where the boys and Paul were standing, outside by the plane.

"Guys this is Ryan, he is going to be your security guard while your in Cali, listen to him. I'm going to be gone so behave your selves." With that Paul left leaving us alone with Ryan.

"Please follow me gentlemen... and lady." he looked toward me and sent me a smile. It's one of those You Have To Smile Back kinds. And that's exactly what I did.

"I don't like him," Niall walks over to us and whispers. "Neither do I." Harry says grimly.

We continue to follow him through the airport. It's quiet. Too quiet. Not one girl screaming One Direction is sight. I guess they didn't want to bother us or something... HA, was I totally wrong.

"There they are!" A swarm of teenagers surrounded us. Well not me or Ryan, just the boys. Few of the securities guards came over but Liam ushered them away. "Who wants pictures?" Liam yells making the young girls go wild.

My ears started to hurt so I continued to walk toward the front entrance. "Do you ever get jealous?"

I didn't even know Ryan was walking with me to the front. Sneaky boy.

"Of what?" I asked dumbfounded. He nodded his head back at the boys. I looked to see Harry taking a picture with a blonde and she was kissing his cheek. I tensed up a bit but quickly plastered a fake smil on my face.

" Of course not." Even though I tried my hardest not to look back, I did anyways. Once again he was with this brunette. I had to admit she was really pretty. She instantly became ugly when Harry kissed her cheek. Um, isn't it suppose to be the other way around?

I watched intently as she goes on her tippy toes and slowly kisses him on the cheek. Like seriously? This isn't a slo-mo scene! She whispered something in his ear which made him smirk and turn red. Handing him a folded note, she walked off making sure she had his eyes on her when she left. It worked.

"Are you sure? Cause' if I was a girl and I saw my boy friend being kissed by another girl and see him blush I would've taken off on that girl." he said snapping his fingers in a Z- formation.

I couldn't help but stifle a laugh. Wait...

"How did you know Harry and I were dating?"

"Paul told me your guy's situation. Didn't you date him when you were like sixteen or something?"

"Fifteen." I stated. This boy knows more about me than I know more about him. All I know is his name.

"Well, it seems you guys had a good trust thing going on." he says before putting on a pair of sun glasses. He opened the door for me and my eyes were flooded with rays of sunlight. I put my hand over my eyes to shield away from the sun.

"Wait, what do you mean 'had'?" I put an emphasize on the word 'had' while trying to keep up with him.

"Let me warn you, girls in America are crazy about these guys. They'll do anything to get them to go out with them, and I mean ANYTHING." he opened a door to a van that was black. The windows were tinted to black and there was not one thing playful about this car. Nothing.

I hopped in and he shut the door leaving to think of these 'American girls'. Did he not know I used to be one? Well still am at heart but I've been around British people for two years, I totally forgot how Americans act. Now I remember. We're crazy.

After about waiting around five minutes the boys hopped in the car. I climbed over into the passenger seat next to Ryan. I wasn't in the mood to sit next to Harry.

When they climbed in they were laughing and smiling until they saw my choice of seat. "Hey babe, there's a extra seat right here next to me." Harry said.

"Nahh, it's fine. Ryan is going to try to help me remember how to drive in America." I replyed without looking at him.

I heard Ryan chuckle a bit and shift in his seat with a smile on his face. "Well first thing, we drive on the right lane."

"THANK YOU ALL FOR COMING! HAVE A GOODNIGHT!" I heard Niall yell into the microphone over the thousands of screaming and crying girls.

I snapped a few shots of the boys grabbing each others hands and taking a bow. For their first concert in America, on this tour anyways, they did amazing. I even started to sing along. They even sang a few old ones. Like Up All Night and my favourite, What Makes You Beautiful.

Louis thought it would be funny to pick out a random girl from a crowd during Harry's solo, so he could sing to her. He did and I hated it. I know, I know, he's a famous person and he probably is secretly married to millions of girls all over the world but he doesn't have to show as if he really has things for these girls. He even gave her a peck on the cheek. Unbelieveable.

"Is somebody jealousss?" I heard Ryan come up from behind me in a sing-song voice. I nudged him in the chest with a smile. "Oh shut up, will you."

He started laughing until the boys ran backstage sweating like crazy. Liam saw me and opened up his arms and started making his way toward me. "Liam, stop it." He kept walking toward me hysterical.

"Liam!- NIALL! OMG!"

I was backing up from Liam when a strong pair of arms wrapped from behind me. "Gotcha love." his thick irish accent coming out.

I pulled away from his strong grasp and ran to hide behind Ryan. He was the only non sweaty boy in this room.

"Well since you're already drenched in Niall's sweat can I have a hug?" Harry asked, arms open.

I haven't talked to him since the van ride here. He's been rehearsing non-stop and I've been busy practicing good angles for shots. I guess I missed him. Psh, forget that! I missed him so much but I couldn't show it.

I smiled and went over to him. Before we could even make contact, a man holding a clip board and wearing a head set came over to us, "One Direction, back stage passes girls are here." He motioned for the boys to come quickly.

Without even a goodbye hug or kiss, Harry runs off with the man with a smile on his face.

"So much for a hug," I mumble under my breath.

I felt an arm go around my shoulders, "Don't be sad Ski, the best part is that he's the player, and you're the coach." he sent me a cheeky wink.

I'm really starting to like this guy. He acts like we've known each other forever. I could get used to his company for the next two days.

I smiled at him and he returned it but with more of a goofy grin which made me laugh.

"Let the games begin."
