The Movellas Teen Dictionary

First, the English language expanded as populations moved across the world, then people such as Shakespeare used their imagination and creativity to add hundreds more words. Now teenagers, the internet and Movellas are doing the same thing! This Movella is a place to capture words/definitions that us as teenagers use everyday, and adults wouldn't necessarily be familiar with. These words can be taken from books or films, popular slang, definitions that make sense only to a small group of friends... Anything! So get imaginative!

6. Movellas Terminology

CC- Constructive criticism on a Movella.

Whoring- Pointlessly commenting on a Movella for a fan, favourite or views, for example: "I love this! Can you check out mine."

Directionners- Movellians who primarily write One Direction fan fiction.

Non- Directionners- Movellians who don't write One Direction fan fiction and/or don't agree or like it.

Movellians- General term for people who belong to the site Movellas.

Fan-Fics- The shortened term meaning, 'Fan Fictions'. This is a piece of fiction using characters, situations or celebrities from a pre-existing work including (but not limited to) books, television programs, films, and comic strips. On Movellas, the most popular kind of fan-fiction is about the British boy band, One Direction.

Cross-Over- When you take some characters from a book/film etc and put them in another.

Anti-Fanfic- The opposite of fan fictions, representing hate instead of love for the characters/celebrities used in a fan-fiction. 

Co-Author- When you write a Movella with another user.
