So Many Books, So Little Time

How to start off 2013? New Year’s Resolutions everyone knows you’ll never keep or a feeling of self-loathing as you shovel down even more Quality Streets left over from Christmas while promising that the diet would start tomorrow? I’ve vowed that in this New Year I will take part in a reading challenge, set by myself, to read over 100 or more classic books and decided that on the 1st of January, 2013 I would start and finish on the 31st of December. I would read all of them, cover to cover in that time while also posting reviews of them all each time I’d finish. Seemed easy enough. What could go wrong?

15. In the Meantime...

Considering they had scarcely any views, likes/favourites or comments, I felt a bit dejected and haven’t uploaded any more reviews in a while. I realised that if not many people were going to read the reviews, then there was very little purpose in me writing them just to amuse myself, though I have done a few without meaning to upload them. But, in the meantime, here is the continuation of some of the books in the meantime. Not every one is on the original List as I’ve made a few edits to the List, but here are some of my favourite books that I’ve read since the few months ago that I last uploaded a review. Here they are:

The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 3/4 by Sue Townsend
Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks
The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro
The Colour Purple by Alice Walker
I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
Peter Pan by J. M Barrie
Beyond Black by Hilary Mantel

The Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K Rowling

Interested in hearing what I thought of them? Thinking of reading one yourself, but not sure? Feel free to comment below.
