4. Feeling special
Liam's POV: I carried her back to camp. The boys looked startled.
"Who's that?" Asked Zayn.
"Is that food?" Niall questioned.
"Is that your cannibal girlfriend?" Harry chuckled.
"Does she have rabies?" Laughed Louis.
"Guys. Stop it. Get me some water for her." I carried her in my tent and placed her on a spread out blanket on the floor. Louis came in with a bucket full of warm water. I have no idea where he got it from. I grabbed a towel and soaked it in the water and carefully wiped the blood of her face and arms. I turned her arms around so I can clean the other side too. But I saw cutting marks on her right wrist. I stared at it. She noticed me looking and snatched her arm away from me. I knew that it wasn't my business to be questioning about it so I just asked for her name and pretended not worry about the cuts.
"Mackenzie...call me Kenzie." she said.
"Haha nice name." I smiled. I walked over to my bag full of my clothes and picked out the smallest shirt that I haven't already worn. She was a thin, average sized girl. Maybe around the age of 16 or 17. I didn't bother asking.
"Hey put this on. Don't worry, its not used haha." I handed her the white cotton shirt.
"Thanks." She said. I knew she was still in shock. I don't get how girls or fans like us so much. We are just regular guys that's trying to make a career with our voices. I walked out of the room to give her some privacy.
Mackenzie's POV: Liam left the tent to let me change. I still couldn't believe that I was actually talking to him. I held the shirt up to my face. It smelled like cologne...probably because he put the shirt with his shirts he have already used. I didn't really mind though. I took off my school shirt and changed into his. I felt so special. I never had someone care about me so much other than my parents. The thought of that made me smile a bit. Not just any girl could meet a guy they dreamed of having by there side...but, I somehow, am.
