Bow's mother died giving birth to Bow so her father married some random lady years after. Ever since the day she gained a stepmother, Bow has always hated her life. She always had anger problems, and always had tantrums, but they got worse and she started hating everyone and almost everything. 7. The Bookworm and The Nerd

I was sitting in my room, staring at the ceiling, the events of the day before replaying in my head. I was scared. I wasn't scared of Harry, I wasn't going to run away. I was scared that he was winning. In what you may ask? I don't really know, he was just winning and I was losing. And I did not like it.

"Bow," I heard a soft knock at my door and Nanny's face popped into my room. I smiled at her, giving her a little wave. "You have a visitor." I raised my brow at her as she opened the door all the way. There stood Harry, giving me a smirk. I gulped down a lump of fear in my throat. "I'll leave you two be." Nanny walked away.

"Hello, Bow," Harry said. I did a little 'sup' nod, calming down a bit. He closed the door and walked over to my bed. I was laying down on the right side while he climbed onto the left side and copied me. I felt naked under my black Converse T-shirt and sports shorts. Those were my pajamas. He was wearing a grey v-neck tee with a breast pocket, a grey beanie, and black jeans. He looked cute.

"What are you doing here?" I questioned. His presence and his action of just laying on my bed annoyed me. "What do you want from me?" I had turned my head to look at him. He had a thinking face on, I just knew it. The way his lips puckered out like he was in deep thought, how his eye brows came together, and how his eyes were squinting in thought.

"I just wanted to hang out, and um, get to know you better," he said, he was staring at the ceiling. I got up off my bed and locked the door. He looked at me a bit surprised, his eyes following me as I walked to the bookshelf. "What are you doing?"

"Look away," I said. He looked away and I pulled out the book then paced it back quickly. I turned back to Harry as the door was opening. "You can look again. C'mon." He looked at me, got up, and followed me into my secret room. I sat on the mattress and pulled out a romance book from under one of the pillows. "Sit and do whatever. I find your presence annoying and I'm going to read," I said bluntly. But then an incomplete feeling washed over me. I wanted to wear my glasses.

"Okay, I'll just sit here and go on Twitter or something, Bookworm," Harry said, sounding bored. I took this as a perfect opportunity. He was so into looking at his Twitter, that I slipped my glasses on. They were those big nerdy glasses. And they made me feel like a nerd. But I was, and was never going to let anyone know that...but...with was okay...

"Wow, Bookworm, didn't think you wore glasses," Harry said, smiling and looking at me. I know he was flirting and stuff, probably just to get on my nerves, but I blushed and hid behind my book. "Aw, don't be shy, I wear glasses too." I looked at him, still blushing a bit. He nodded. "I'm just wearing my contacts." I smiled.

"I guess you're a nerd too," I said, giggling a bit. Bow, stop. This is going beyond flirting now.

"Haha, yeah, I guess so," Harry said. We shared a stare, holding it for maybe a bit too long. He looked back at his phone and I went back to reading.

I was replying to people on Twitter. Sure, I felt bad that people always talk to me and I didn't respond to all of then, maybe a small bit out of thousands. But a lot of them sent the same stuff. And I wasn't replying to fans right now. I was tweeting my friends back and tweeting that I was bored. A bunch of fans replied to me in less than a minute, asking me to follow and stuff. I sighed and turned my phone off.

"Bow....I'm bored," I whined. I wanted to hang out with her, probably go shopping and stuff. She raised a brow at me. "Bookworm, stop reading books and let's do something fun!" She gave me a deathly glare. I playfully glared back. She sighed and closed her book.

"What do you want to do, Nerd?" she said, giving me a smirk. "Couldn't you see I was really busy reading?" She was pointing to her book, obviously a serious reader. I didn't expect her to like reading so much.

"Books are boring, let's go out and party, like go to a club or something," I offered. Her eyes shot at me and she looked like she choked. I furrowed my brows together, trying to read her face, but she stood up abruptly, looking nervous. Bow walked out of the room with me trailing behind her. "So do you want to?" I said just as she locked her secret chamber.

"Uh...Yeah s-sure... Let me just get dressed... we can go, um, shopping," Bow stuttered. I was about to ask what was wrong, but knew I annoyed her a lot and she was going to get angry. Besides, we didn't really know each other. "How about you get the boys to come too?"

"Why? So you can flirt with Niall?" I said. I was a bit surprised that I said that. She gave me a stern look, shaking her head.

"No, you already made it clear I wasn't allowed to," Bow said, walking over to her closet, grabbing clothes. "Unless you don't want them to go..." There was an awkward silence after she said that.

"Nah, I'll ask, you just get changed," I said. She smiled, walking into the bathroom. I knew I wasn't going to have fun. I was going to have to watch her and Niall. I blew out a breath of air, texting the boys to come to Bow's house.

"Let me just inform everyone that I'm going out, and then I'll do my make-up as we wait for the boys," Bow said. I raised my brow at her outfit. She wore skinny jeans and a black 'The Wanted' t-shirt. On her feet there were a pair of white high top Converse sneakers. Where were her usual clothes? The clothes that made a boy look at her. She walked out of the room, leaving me to myself.

"You don't need make-up," I told her when she walked back in. She let out a little laugh. I squinted at her. "I'm serious, you don't." She rolled her eyes at me and shook her head. Bow obviously didn't know she was beautiful.

"I know what you're thinking," she said, giggling as she applied make-up to her eyes. "And yes, I know I'm beautiful, thanks Nerd." Wow, I did not expect her her to sound so vain. "But... I like doing the make-up on my eyes... I've gotten used to it, so it's hard for me to go out without it..."

"You went out without make-up yesterday," I replied bluntly.

"That's because the stylist would remove my make-up if I had any on."

There was a knock at the door. "Vas happenin'?" I heard a familiar voice say, and in walked Zayn, Liam, Louis and Niall. Paul was right behind them.

"Hey guys, ready to go?" Bow said, smiling at them. Her make-up was done, but it didn't really do anything to her appearance. She looked at all the boys, her eyes traveling to Niall and staying on Niall. They started at each other, for a good minute then looked away.

That night was not going to be fun at all.
