That might have been the last time I talk to Marissa about boys. First of all, I had forgotten completely that Marissa was going out with Scott now, so I just made a big problem. But she was complaining to me also that maybe Niall just wasn't her type. So called Directioner who was a huge Niall's girl said what? So she left me alone to go call Scott and see what she would do. I literally shopped for and hour before she came back into the dress store I was in and told me that he wouldn't be to happy about it. She also said she wouldn't go to England with me, because it would be awkward now. I felt so bad, since I had imposed that I was taking her but now I couldn't and now Niall probably thought she liked him. What if he liked he back? What if he doesn't even remember her? Hopefully he didn't.
I dropped Marissa at her home once we finished shopping, then went straight back to my house. I still felt terrible so I called Niall. "Hello?" he munched. He must have been eating.
"Hey Niall, just wanted to ask a few things," I said. I sat on my bed and turned my laptop on.
"I'm listening," Niall said. I could hear him take a bite out of something crunchy.
"Could you stop eating for a second?" I joked. He didn't laugh back. "Hey, what's wrong?"
"N-Nothing," he choked. He coughed for a little bit before calming down. "So what did you need to ask me?"
"Oh well, I need to know which airport would be closest to you guys...unless...I can't stay with you..." I said, starting to feel awkward.
"What? Didn't you hear? Your father is coming to us along with his crew...I thought you were coming too..."
"WHAT?" I practically screamed. "Niall I'm going to have to call you back." I hung up the phone and stormed downstairs to see my dad in the TV room, watching an old football game and working on his computer. I shut the TV off and he looked up at me. "Why didn't you tell me you were going to England?"
"What? How did you find out?" my dad said. He looked surprised and shocked at the same time.
"I was talking to Niall and it slipped from him," I said, glaring at my dad. I was curious to hear what he had to say. "Well?"
"Aw shucks! I wanted it to be a surprise for your birthday!" my dad looked down and sighed. I couldn't help but smile. He was taking me to England with him, as a birthday gift? "Well, now I have to get you something else..."
"NO! That's an amazing gift! Thank you Daddy!" I cried, hugging him around the neck, then running off to my room. I quickly dialed Niall's number. "Oh my goodness you'll never guess what Daddy just told me!" I screamed happily at Niall just as he answered.
"Wow, that was my ear," Niall said. I tried hard to hide my laughter. "What did he tell you?"
"He was going to take me anyways! Since my birthday is coming up, he's taking me with him," I was squealing and rolling around on my bed. I stopped abruptly. "What am I doing?" I asked aloud.
"That's amazing! And I don't know, what are you doing?" Niall laughed. I smiled. "So, when's the birthday girl's birthday?"
"June 18," I said, smiling happily. When it comes to my birthday, I'm always happy. "I'm so excited to see you guys again! I miss you guys!"
"Aw, I miss you too," Niall said. I heard another voice in the background. "Oh, hey Bow? Harry wants me to hang up so he can talk to you. He's going to call you in a little bit, is that fine?"
"Yeah sure, I'll talk to you later, Niall," I hung up and waited for Harry's call. It wasn't a long wait. "Hello" I said into my phone.
"Hello Bow," he said. His voice gave me shivers. I got off my bed and started walking towards my closet. "How have you been?"
"I've been good, and how about you?" I said. I was blushing. I wanted to smack myself. I grabbed my PJ's and walked into the bathroom. I put down the toilet seat cover and sat on top of it. "How was the flight back?"
"I'm well," he said. Why did he have to have such a cute accent? "But the flight was terrible! It was so long and so boring!" We both shared a laugh. Then it got silent. "So what are you doing?"
"Well, I'm going to take a shower in a little while," I said.
"Hmm, wish I could join you," Harry chuckled. I froze. My face burned like I was on fire.
"No, I would kick you out," I said, feeling like I needed to smack myself. He was playing with me, and I was losing. "Quit teasing me Styles."
"Fine. I hear you are coming to England. For your birthday?" I smiled trying to imagine what he was doing as he said that.
"Yeah, Daddy was going to take me as a gift," I said.
"Daddy? Wow, you are so girly Bow," Harry teased.
"Hey! Don't make fun of me!" I laughed. What was happening to me? Normally I would give off attitude and fight, but I wasn't. "I think...I think I'm going to take my shower now... Bye Harry." Before he could reply, I turned off my phone. I sat there, my heart beating faster and faster with each passing second. What was going on? I had never had this feeling before. Never. I stood up and looked myself in the mirror over the sink. I stared at myself. I looked different somehow. I looked happier. Why? Was it because of Harry? "I'm just excited to see them..." I said, unable to believe it. I swallowed hard.
No. I wasn't excited to see them. I was excited to see him.
