The End

When the world ends, will Layla and Dylan be able to survive on their own? They haven't found any water in days, and their food selection is scarce. They need to find help, before their time is up. When they meet up with five boys from the fire, will they be able to survive together? Or will hell find them first? So far, hell is winning.

Harry's POV:

Layla's breathing deepened as she feel into a deeper sleep. "Goodnight." I whispered, planting a kiss onto her head. 4 days with nothing. I just wanted a decent shower or something. There must be one in one of these apartment buildings. I heard footsteps behind me and tightened my grip on Layla, turning my head just enough to see who it was. "Is she ok? Want me to take her back by everyone?" Dylan asked. "No, it's ok. I've got her." I reassured him. "Ok." He said turning around and walking away. I closed my eyes and fell asleep myself. ********* I woke up the next morning feeling around for Layla, but all that was there was an empty towel. "Layla?" I called for her. "Right here." She said walking towards me from the waves. "Sorry for my morning breath. I can't really help it." She smiled. "It's ok. Mines probably just as bad." I chuckled. "Here." She said handing me a breath-mint. "You have everything don't you?" I laughed. "I wish. I want a shower." She sighed. "Me too. Let's head back to the group." I smiled. "Ok." As we walked back towards the group, we noticed everyone's awkward staring. It's not like we were holding hands or anything...just walking. Layla sat down, criss-cross on the sand, and myself on a log. Everyone kinda just stared at each other for awhile, letting the sound of the waves echo through the empty buildings. "I wonder if there are any fish in the lake left..." Ali whispered. "I'm sure there are. They wouldn't all just die." Liam stated. "We should eat some." Danielle added. You would think they'd be smart enough to realize that the water was freezing and no one in their right mind would go in there and catch any fish. "No ones going to go in there to catch them! It's freezing!" I said. Everyone let out a sigh as my point was proven. I looked over to Layla, watching her as she searched though her bag and pull out her iPod and headphones. "Layla?! How do you have that still?!" I asked. She jumped, noticing everyone staring. "I've had it this whole time..." She hesitated. "How does it stay charged?" Eleanor asked. Layla pulled out a small, portable, battery powered charger. "With this, and these." She said holding up large packs of batteries. "She'll die without music." Dylan laughed. "So will I." Niall said as he pulled out his guitar and stayers playing "Drunk" by Ed Sheeran. "I love that song!" Layla squealed. "I wanna be drunk when I wake up on the right side of the wrong bed..." Niall sang, "And every excuse I made up..." "Tell you the truth I hate what didn't kill me it never made me stronger at all." Zayn added. I joined in after Liam and Louis had, "I know i never hold you like I used to." We enjoyed singing the song, letting out laughs at some parts. "Layla, have you ever sang before?" Perrie asked. "Not for awhile." She said. "But she's amazing." Dylan smiled. Layla's cheeks turned a bright red, "No I'm not." "Song for us!" Everyone chanted. "No...." She said turning away. "Please?!" Everyone begged. "She was going to be on American Id, then the world ended." Dylan said. "That was you?!?!" Louis asked. "Ya..." She smiled. "You have to sing then! You're amazing!" Louis demanded. "Ehhh....only if all of you sing with me." She said. "Ok!" Everyone laughed as Niall started playing "I Knew You Were Trouble" by Taylor Swift. "Once upon a Tim's, a few mistakes ago..." Zayn started as we all joined in. "You found me , you found me, you found me." Louis sang. "Cuz I knew you were foible when you walked in, so shame on me now, flew me to places I've never been, til' you put me down oh..." Layla turned around to for through her bag agin, but continued to sing as I got everyone's attention. "Stop at the big note..." I whispered. They a got the clue as we continued to sing. "Bet you never loved me, or her, or anyone, or anything..." We all stopped as Layla sang the high note, making it sound like Heaven itself. Everyone clapped and cheered at her amazing voice. She blushed, but continued to sing, knowing she sounded good. "Trouble, trouble, trouble." We ended the song. "HOLY SH-" N started to say. "No no no! We don't swear." Dylan said, shaking his finger vigorously. "HOLY POO YOU'RE AMAZING!!!" He said.
