There was silence for a few minutes, then I made my way slowly to where Laylawas hiding. She was put into shock mode, holding all of the bullets shot at her in her hand. She was trembling, mouth wide, as she stared off into the distance.
"Layla, Layla!" I yelled and snapped my fingers but nothing worked. Everyone else gathered around her.
There was another gun shot off in the distance. The loud echo of it made Layla even more afraid than she already was, causing her to scream at the top of her lungs.
"Layla you'll be ok, everything is fine." I said trying to calm her down. Her breathing was heavy and her eyes were wide.
She wasn't moving, her facial expression was smeared with pure terror and fear. "I'm gonna die." She mumbled under her breath.
"Layla no you're not." I said trying to calm her down.
"He's after me. He knows me." She said, staring off into the distance.
"Layla you're being stupid. He doesn't know you." I said rolling my eyes.
"I have a feeling he might." Zayn said looking in the same direction Layla was facing.
On one on the old billboards were the words "Im after you Layla. You're DEAD to me." Small tears started falling down her cheeks.
"No...no! Dylan! No! I don't wanna die! I-I don't know what I did! What does he want from me?!" She started yelling and freaking out, chucking the bullets left in her hand all over the place.
"That's why he shot Eleanor. Her hair looks like Layla's from far away. It was a mistake." Louis said, Eleanor following with a sigh of relief.
Layla's eyes became puffy and red from her tears. "We better find shelter. It's getting late, and we can't just sleep here with someone out to get Layla." Harry said.
"Ya, we should start walking before it gets dark. We can't stay in the bakery, he knows we've been there." Louis said wrapping his arm around Eleanor's waste.
We started walking, finding old buildings with doors that didn't lock, or locks with no wall on one side.
"It's useless." Niall sad sitting down on a rock. I knew we couldn't give up.
"No it's not. We just need to walk a little further." I said pulling Layla along with me.
"We've been walking for ages. We haven't found anything, we won't find anything, and I'm tired." Perrie said plopping herself down next to Niall.
"I'm not staying here when my sister could die in her sleep." I said as I continued to walk. Everyone eventually followed. Once we finally got to a safe place, we all found our spots on the soft, dusty carpet and fell asleep.
