"Dylan, I don't want anything to happen to-" "Shut up!" He yelled. Layla's face immediately turned to hurt and shock. Her plump, bottom lip started to tremble as a small tear escaped her eye. She grabbed my hand and pulled me away from the group. We walked behind a brick wall where Layla immediately burst into tears. I pulled her close, wrapping my arms around her, stroking her hair with one hand and rubbing her back with another. "That's exactly what Kyle did to me. He just blew me off like that." She cried. I knew how much she loved Dylan and Kyle. Them being her two older brothers, they were supposed to protect her. "I'm just glad the twins aren't here." She sobbed. "I don't know what I did. I was just trying to protect him." "Shh...it's ok, Layla. He's just going through a hard time." I comforted her. "Calm down, please?" I begged. She hugged my torso, leaving tear stains on my coat. "Sorry..." She sniffed. "It's fine, baby." I reassured her. "Baby?" She asked looking up at me. "You're my girlfriend now...do I have permission to call you that?" I asked. "Sure." She smiled.
His hand came up to cup my cheek, his thumb wiping away my tears. "I hate seeing you cry." He said. "It's absolutely terrible to watch." "Sorry..." I looked down. He put his hand under my chin, making me look up at him. "Never apologize for what others did to you. Never apologize for crying." He demanded. I let a weak smile slip out as he pulled me in for a hug again. "I don't want to go back over there..." I said. "We don't have to. Lets just stay here." He added. My eyes wandered the bricks, eyeing the small details. As I continued to look around, I saw a small glimmer of light. "What is that?" Harry asked as we walked over to it. I picked it up as Harry picked up the note under it. Realizing it was Kyle's dog tags the tears started coming again. "Read the note..." I commanded. "Layla, are you sure?" Harry asked. "Just do it." I said. He unfolded the piece of paper and read aloud, "I found you." My heart stopped. "We need to get you out of here...it's not safe." He said. Harry took my hand and put me in front of him, wrapping his arms around my waist as we walked back to the hotel. Everyone was still outside, discussing what they would do.
