"Oh my god Caycia! What's wrong?" Her face was swollen and her eyes were bloodshot.

"It's my brother." She said between sobs. Her entire body was rocking as she made her way over to the bed. I pulled the sheet back, lifting my body to one side of the bed, making way for her to lie beside me. I instantaneously relaxed the second her body molded to mine.

"Is he okay?" I asked, wiping a tear from her cheek.

"He was in - in an accident."

My heart sunk in my chest. I felt a large lump grow in my throat. Please be alive, I prayed.

"He's still alive, but he's in a coma. Zayn . . . he's been in a coma for four days and I didn't know." I continued wiping away tears, stroking her hair as she spoke. "The doctors are afraid that he might not make - make it." I could feel her heart rate quicken, her body visually tensing as she said the words.

"I'm sure he'll be okay love. He's a Clemons', he's tough as shit." I kissed her temple lightly, receiving a meek chuckle from my joke.

"I know, I'm just worried." She whispered. There was a moment of silence before she sat up. She turned to look at me, wiping her own tears this time. "There's something else I need to tell you . . ."

I struggled to pull myself up into a sitting position, my weak muscles failing me. "What?" I asked softly, rubbing her hand.

"He was in an accident on the same day you were Zayn . . ."

"Mhm," I continued massaging her hand as I listened to her, clueless.

"He was in an accident that same night . . ."

These painkillers were really fucking with my brain and its ability to comprehend things.

"Zayn," she lifted my chin up to stare into her eyes, "Sean's car . . . it was the car that hit yours. Sean was the one in the driver's seat."

I stopped rubbing her hand, my body tensed, my heart rate quickened. I felt the room spin. I could faintly hear Caycia calling my name but it was like she was a million miles away.

"Get . . . the . . . doctor . . ." I panted out. I could barely form a coherent sentence as I constantly pressed my small button calling for the doctor or a nurse, someone to help me.

I put Caycia's brother in a coma.
