"So how was the party?" Greg asked as he drove the car.
"It was alright." I said facing forward.
"What about you Brandon? Have any fun?" I turned around to look at Brandon and he quickly looked away.
"Uh, yeah." He said tapping his fingers on his thigh, something he did when he was scared or nervous. Greg just nodded and continued to drive. When we arrived at our house we got out of the car and walked into the house. It felt good to be back home. Greg went to his room and I started to walk to mine, and Brandon just stayed back. I'm not sure what he was doing, and I didn't really care. I can't believe he had gotten drunk. He's only 15 years old! He's smarter then that, and Zayn. Well, I already told him off about it. But I was still pretty pissed. I kicked off my shoes and threw them into the closet along with my other shoes. I started to undo my belt when I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in." I said loudly. I turned around and saw Brandon walking towards me slowly. He had an unreadable expression on his face, and I'm sure the look on my face was still pretty angry since I was still upset. But when I saw my little brother my face softened a little. All of a sudden Brandon slammed into me and wrapped his arms around me tightly, knocking the wind out of me.
"Niall, I'm sorry. So sorry, please. Please don't hate me." He said with his face buried into my chest. Golly, how could I stay mad at this kid?
"I forgive you." I said pulling his arms out from around me. I stared into his eyes, they looked a little happy. But still sad. "But your only 15 years old! You can't make stupid decisions. Your a smart kid Brandon, I know you are. And I just don't want you going down a bad path is all... I mean. Your a 15 year old freshman in all upper level classes and I can barley maintain a B in every class. I don't want you to be like me. I don't want you drinking, or messing up your grades. Got it?" He slowly nodded. "Say it."
"Got it." He said hugging me once more, this time I hugged him back. "I love you Niall. Your the best brother I could ask for, honestly." I smiled a little bit and squeezed him a little tighter.
"I love you too little brother." I said releasing him and he smiled at me. "Hey, go get cleaned up and I'll do the same. Let's go get some Nando's? I'll ask Greg if I can get the car." His face lit up like a kid on christmas.
"Really? Yeah, yeah. I'm going to shower right now." He said zooming out of my room happy as ever. I sat down on my bed and exhaled a sigh of relief. I'm glad I got through to him, I don't want him to drink and make mediocre grades like me. He's better then that. He's better then me.
