I told you. He doesn't come until dusk. I sent to Sophie when she asked me if he was here yet. I was sitting at my spot at the park, reading my book and listening to music. Quietly, I sang along with the words. No one had to hear me make a fool of myself.
It was about 2 o'clock. When I woke up I decided it was a nice day so I took the long way to the park, taking pictures all of the way. As soon as I told Sophie I was at the park she began bothering me every five minutes to see if he got here yet. I continuously had to repeat that he didn't come until it got dark.
Today I had brought two novels because I was more than halfway through one. So three and a half hours later while I was singing along to Taylor Swift I finished reading the last page. I put down the book I just finished and went to grab the new book.
Instead of the book by itself, I found the silhouette of the mystery guy holding it standing a couple of feet away. I pulled my headphones off. "How long have you been standing there?" I asked embaressed. He laughed.
"Long enough to hear you sing. You have an amazing voice," He complimented me, sitting down next to me, closer than usual.
"Gee thanks," I said sarcastically, laughing.
"No seriously. It was good," He told me.
"So what's on the adgenda today?" I asked him.
"Learning session. We have to learn about each other," He stated.
"And why is that?" I laughed.
"Because I need to be able to pose for my picture," He said.
"You're still hooked on that?" I asked. He nodded.
We exchanged information for a while although all of it was pretty vague. He said he hung out with friends alot, traveled awesome, and could sing. I told him I loved photogaraphy, my parents trusted me, and didn't know if I had any talents. He said I could sing and I laughed at how that seemed so untrue.
I didn't want him to know that I was rich. If we had something good going I wanted it to be because we had the same personalities; not because of materialistic things. It was like what Liam had said; Zayn was happy his friend didn't know he was famous because it could blow up in his face.
When it had gotten late we said good bye and left. It continued in the same pattern on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. But on Thursday night he asked me on a "Date" for Friday. It would still be in the dark at the park, he said but he would bring food and we could watch a film on his portable player. "Sure," I had said excited to go on a "date" and Sophie was happy too.
He even asked if I wouldn't come until dusk because he wanted to set it up perfectly. So as I walked home Thursday, I fantasised about what could happen the next day.
