"Your gonna be okay. We're going to be okay." Zayn continued to tell me as I threw up my guts. I felt his warm hand holding my waist securely but it didn't help as I felt my stomach churn once more.
I pulled away from the toilet bowl wiping my mouth with the back of my sleeve. Zayn helped me get off the ground pulling me into his embrace.
I hadn't noticed the tears falling rapidly down my face. Zayn held me tight as he spoke sweet words in my ear to calm me down.
"Baby don't cry. We'll get through this."
I felt so weak and exhausted. I rested my head onto Zayn's shoulder as I cried silently.
"C'mon lets get you to bed. It'll make you feel better." Zayn pulled me into his arms and carried me over to his bed. I got under the covers finally feeling relaxed. I pulled Zayn closer to the bed wanting to feel his warmth beside me.
"Please stay." I whimpered. Zayn gave me a small smile as he climbed into bed with me. I felt his arms wrap around my waist and his chin lay on my shoulder.
"I love you. Whatever happens I'll always love you." Zayn's words made me feel so much better. I turned around in his grip and placed a kiss onto his cheek.
"Thank you. I don't know what I'd do without you. I love you so much."
With my head resting on Zayn's chest I fell into a deep sleep.
I found myself sitting in a beautiful meadow. The grass was soft as I brushed my finger tips over the top. I was laying on my back looking up to the clouds when I noticed how quiet it was. Nothing but my thoughts consumed me. The soft breeze wiped my hair around letting chills tickle my body.
I pulled myself off the ground to see Zayn standing only meters away. He had a smile on his lips as he waved me over. I returned the smile and jogged over to him.
"I need to show you something." Zayn continued to smile as he walked away. Within a second he had disappeared.
"Zayn?" My voice came out shaky. I heard a soft cry in the distance making me whip around. I hadn't noticed the large mirror that stood in the middle of the field. I walked over to it hoping to see my reflection but I saw something entirely different.
I stared in amazement and delight. There in front of me was myself, Zayn and our child. We're all in Zayn's room, the lights dimmed and the three of us on the bed. Our baby lay between us holding both of our hands. I was currently looking down at our baby saying nothing in particular when Zayn lifted my face so I could look him in the eyes.
"I love you." His lips crashed against mine giving me chills. I could feel tears welling up in my eyes as I continued to watch.
"Ain't it amazing?" I turned to see Zayn, his hands lay in his pockets.
"Why are you here?" I couldn't help but ask. How did Zayn get me to feel better about my current situation even in my dreams?
"Because I love you and I'll do anything to protect you, even in your dreams." Zayn stepped closer filling in the gap that lay between us. "Don't forget that. I'm here. I'm always here for you."
I rested my head onto his shoulder feeling the warmth that radiated off his body. "How are you so sure we can do this? Why do you believe in me so much?" I hadn't noticed that I was crying. My tears blurred my vision.
I felt Zayn's soft hand caress my cheek. "I believe in you because I love you. Baby isn't that enough?" I wanted that to be enough, but it wasn't.
"You don't think that's enough do you?" He whispered softly. I pulled away from his grip and nodded. His lips turned into a frown. "What do I have to do to get your trust?"
I turned my attention way from Zayn and back to the mirror. It was now a different image. The baby lay in my arms on the living room couch. We were both fast asleep. I watched more closely when I heard the door open. Zayn walked into the room with a large suitcase looking very tired. I watched as his eyes landed on the two of us and smiled. He pulled the baby out of my arms and walked down the hall to what I assumed would be the babies room.
A couple minutes later Zayn arrived back with no baby in his arms. He kneeled down beside my face cupping it with both hands.
"I'm sorry I was gone for so long. I love you." He placed his lips onto mine giving me a small kiss. He stood up with me in his arms as he carried me to his room.
"Do you trust me now?" I turned around to be face to face with Zayn. "I'll always come back to you. You and our baby." Zayn kneeled down so he could be level with my stomach. He raised my shirt slightly leaving my bare skin to look at. His soft lips placed kisses over my stomach.
"You won't lose me." He mumbled against my stomach. I pulled him off the ground into my arms. "Then I trust you."
My eyes fluttered open after my dream had ended. I looked up to the ceiling to prevent myself from crying once more. That dream felt so real and the way Zayn spoke to me felt different.
I pulled myself out of bed to the bathroom to clean myself. After that dream I've decide to take this pregnancy and make it something good. Whoever is inside of me deserves a good life and I know I can give it to he or she. I'm not gonna abandon my child.
I finished using the washroom and got dressed. I wasn't going to mope around Zayn's apartment anymore. I'm gonna start my new life as a mother to be.
I quietly stepped out of the room careful not to make a sound as I walked down the hall. I slipped on my toms and was about to open the door when I heard his voice.
"Where're you going?" I whipped around to see Zayn with his arms crossed over his chest and a stern look on his face. I couldn't tell if he was mad or sad, all I knew was that I probably wouldn't like his reaction after I tell him I'm going home.
"I-I going home." Zayn frowned. "You could've told me instead of sneaking out. I can give you a ride if you want." I shook my head. "Zayn I'm not going to my place, I'm going home."
Zayn's facial expressions changed for what felt like thirty times. He look so sad then angry then disappointed.
"Why? What's there that's not here? Aren't I enough for you?" Zayn filled the gap between us as he stepped closer. His hands lay beside mine but he didn't dare to touch them. "I can take care of you."
"Zayn I need my family. I need my mum. I have to tell her before she finds out on her own. I'm not leaving you if that's what you're feeling. I just need my parents right now." I pulled Zayn into a hug but he didn't hug me back.
"When will you need me?" His voice was raspy and low as if he was crying. I pulled away from his chest to look him in his eyes. "I'll always need you. I've always needed you." Tears fell from his eyes and it broke my heart. I couldn't stand to see him like this.
"I had this dream last night as you held me in your arms. You showed me that everything is going to be okay. You promised that you'd protect us and continue to love us. So I promise you that I'll return. I'll be back because your my other half and I can't live without you. You have a part of my heart like no one else does so you don't have to worry about me."
"I love you." Zayn pressed his lips firmly onto mine. I kissed him with everything I had in me. "I love you too."
