Today was the day. The day I gained the independence and freedom I yearned for so long. I woke up with a big smile planted on my face. I went to my bathroom, took off the brace stabilizing my ankle, and hopped in the shower. After I cleansed myself off, I put on my robe and brace, I went to the sink and brushed my hair and teeth. I gargled the blue mouthwashed that made a minty scented sting swish around my mouth. I spit it out, wiped off my hands and face, and did my makeup and hair. I went to my closet and decided on black skinny shorts that stopped below my ass, a red and black plaid button up, and a grey tank top that said REBEL. I wanted to see if I could go a day without my brace, so I took it off. I was walking better, and it didn't hurt. I threw the brace at my garbage can. I slipped on some no-show socks that were blood red, and grabbed my grey combat boots that had a old washed type of colour. I straightened my long brown hair, then pit it in a messy bun. I decided maybe I should dye my hair. Bright red? Black? Maybe go blonde? Or get it dip-dyed? Maybe me and Chloe can get our hair done together. I figured I'd get my packing done now, rather then waiting. I went to our storage room, which basically was just a room with me and Regan's school papers in neat files kept in these pink storage cases lined up against the walls, each container stating 'Regan's k-12 school papers' or 'Rosalina's k-12 school papers.' They even started one for my college work, which will be succesfully fulfilled in about 2 years. I went to the closet, which had all suitcases in it. I grabbed all of mine, which were zebra print with a hot pink trim and a smaller sized Hello Kitty one, which were black with Hello Kitty in the middle, the trim being a tad bit bright red. I lugged each one into my room, and grabbed my softball duffel bag. I stuffed my bras, panties, socks, and hair and makeup bag in it. I zipped it up, and sat it on the floor. I got all of my shirts, and a few tank tops and camisoles, and stuffed them into the largest suitcase there was. I sat that suitcase down and started on the next. About half an hour later, I was finished. My stomach was growling, so I ran down the steps. As soon as my mum laid eyes on me, her big hazel eyes filled with tears. "My baby is all grown up!" She said, her voice wobbling. "Mum, I'm not a baby anymore." Regan came in, her emerald eyes being outlined by eyeliner that looked maybe like a dark grey. "Hey Rosie, big day came. Excited, eh?" I nodded. "Well, I'm happy for you." She gave me that 'mum-is-making-me-act-like-this' look. I laughed and I felt to large hands lay on my shoulders. "My princess is leaving the castle." "Guys, you do know I'm like 20 minutes away from here, right?" I said. My parents are too emotional and protective. I do feel bad for Regan, though. I mean, when I was here they babied me, even when she was here. Now I'm leaving the nest and it'll just be her. She's been the baby, but they never really babied her My phone, sitting in my back pocket, started vibrating, making me jump a little. I pulled it out, and saw Chloe had texted me.

I called Chloe, and she picked up after 3 rings.

--Phone Call Ended--
I was a tad bored, so I snuck up behind Regan.
"BOO!" Regan screamed her ass off and I fell, me laughing hard. "God Rosie you made me scared!"
I laughed even harder. She helped pull me up, and I went to our kitchen. I made myself 3 pancakes, and a cup of coffee. After I finished my breakfast, I asked Regan to help me put my stuff in my car. She said yes, and we raced to my room. I grabbed my large suitcase and duffel bag. She grabbed my medium sized suitcase, and the H.K one. All of my suitcases were in my car in about 10 minutes. I went upstairs, back to my room, and grabbed my blue chambrey canvas bag, which was filled with my usual stuff. It was time to become a independent girl. I walked downstairs, and we said our goodbyes. I got into my car and drove to me and Chloe's new home. I had the windows down, the music up. I had my Beatles CD in, and lwas singing along to Eleanor Rigby. My sunglasses were on. Then I screamed and tried to turn my car, but it was too late.
