I woke up to Jess shaking me to wake up, when I finally woke up she looked me straight in the eyes and said
"Mrs Briggs is splitting us up!".
"Are you sure!?" I replied, Jess nodded and walked over to the window seat, one of her favourite places to think. I sat up in bed and rubbed my eyes. I didn't actually think Briggs would actually spilt us up!? I mean she is our social worker I think she would know that we were both bullied at our old schools and had no friends intill we met eachother! I didn't think she would have the guts to split us up.
"When is she gonna tell us!?" I asked Jess who was quietly crying by the window.
"She said to the person on the phone that she would tell us a.s.a.p!" She replied. I sighed.
"Well, I won't put up with it! I am NOT leaving and neither are you! Got it!?" I said standing up and starting to walk over to Jess.
"Got it!" she said. I pulled her into a big bear hug, before pulling away and doing our awesome handshake we made up about a year ago. We giggled and had another hug, I told her to cheer up and went off to find some clothes for today. I ended up wearing some red skinny jeans, a stripy top and some cheap blue pumps, you may think I am copying Louis but this has been my style before 1D were even invented!
I strolled downstairs with Jess to get some breakfast! For the first time in a while I was actually on time for breckie! I went and sat down with everyone and had a small bowl of fake coco-pops! I was halfway through my soggy disaster when Chloe, the cutest three year old ever, came into the kitchen sucking her thumb and holding her favourite teddy.
"Coggy!" She said and ran up to me. I wrapped my arms around her and picked her up swinging her in the air. She giggled and put her head on my shoulder before I put her in her little chair. I poured her some chocolate sherredies and only put in a little bit of milk, just how she likes it. I love Chloe just as if she was my own little sister, I love her to bits and she loves me to! I did the whole airaplane thing with the spoon and I got her to eat half of it before she refused to eat any more! I saw Briggie walk in and she came up behind me and tapped me on the shoulder, I ignored her of course.
"Connie, may I speak with you?" She asked in her sickly sweet voice.
"Nope. I am gonna go help Chloe get changed! So sorry, maybe later... or not!" I said. I carefully got Chloe out of her chair, I put her on my hip and walked out of the room and into her bedroom which she shares with Charlotte, who is four and loves Jess. When we got into her room I put her down and she ran straight to her little chest of draws.
"Can match you?" she asked me.
"Aww, of course!" I answerd, I looked in her top draw and found a blue and white stripy top then I looked in her trouser draw and found some red leggins. She got changed into them straight away, I looked under her bed for her little red trainers. I put them on her and I have to say she looked like the cutest living thing that has ever excisted!
"Can do hair now pleeeaaasssseeeeeee!!!!" she asked me pulling out the word please, before giving me puppy dog eyes. I sighed at her and picked her up again and took her to Jesses and my room. I sat her down on a little stool I normally sit on to do my hair and make up. I brushed out her curly blonde hair and got my blue flower head band and put it over her hair, Then I puffed up the bit on top and she looked like a gypsy girl.
"You look gourgeous!" I said clapping!
"Yay! Thank youuuuuu!" She said before kissing my check and running off. I giggled at her and then sat on the stool to do my own hair and makeup. I did my hair the same as Chloes and did my every day makeup.
"Jess! Connie! I have two letters for you!" Briggs said. I ran like a bullet down the stairs to collect it. Jess was already there and holding hers and stroking the envelope, she has problems! I grabbed mine and mutterd a thanks before me and Jess ran upstairs to our bedroom. We sat down on our worn out circle mat in the middle of the room and peeled open the envelope. I bit my lip as I put my hand inside, to find out if we were going to the concert or not...
I saw Connie bite her lip as she peeled open her letter. Unlike me. I have never been able to open a letter the way you are supposed to. Connie couldn't ever do it at first but with my amazing know how skills to show her how to use her long nails to peel it. Unlike me she has very long nails compared to mine. I am one of the thousands of people who have the terrible habit of nail biting.
So anyways as I was saying before we were opening our letters. My tongue was pushing against the side of my cheek in a nervous way that I always used to do when I was dancing on stage (A/N the part of I just said is true and I still do) . Once it was fully open I pulled out the letter, hoping that I hadn't ripped it in the opening, just wishing that it could have a piece of paper saying winner attached one direction tickets and backstage passes. But noooooo. It had to have a bunch of words written on it with the word WINNER some where in between the start and the finish. I quickly scanned over it some lines catching my eye 'many entries were sent in' and 'all of them were brilliant and it was very hard to decide the winner'. I read on from there.
However out of the grand entries we have had we have decided that yours is the winner!
The winner, the winner, the winner I kept repeating in my head until it had made its impact on me.
"We're going to a one direction concert!", I almost screamed whilst beginning my happy dance which was basically the dougie.
"Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh , uh", I said along with the dougie and Connie.
"Wait where are the tickets?", Connie asked. I shrugged and bent back down to the envelope. I reached in and pulled out two rectangular pieces of paper and two laminated squares. I separated them into backstage passes and tickets into each of my hands.
"Here they are!", I said juggling them around a bit. Connie screamed.
"Whens the concert?", she asked. I looked at the tickets searching for date when I got the shock of my life. The concert was tonight.
"Connie the concerts...", I said taking a deep breath.
"When is it then?", she asked frustrated as I was taking to long. Be patient young one, is what I wanted to say so bad but didn't.
Looking up from the ticket I glared at her first then said "Tonight". Connie's eyes widened in shock before she stood up and hurried towards her wardrobe, as did I. I pulled out a denim t-shirt, a beige patch pullovers sweater, denim shorts. I put them out on my bed and ran down to the bathroom shouting I bag the bathroom to Connie. Even though I'd already had a shower today, I wanted smell nice when I met the boys.
I washed my hair and myself before getting back out drying myself and putting my moisturizer on. I have a weird moisturizer as it also gives you a light tan. Once I had finished I washed my hands and then wrapped a towel around myself.
When I stepped out I saw Connie tapping her foot impatiently. I mouthed sorry before running up the stairs to get dressed before she came back. Once I was in my room I dropped the towel and put my under wear on. I pulled on my t-shirt and sweater along with my shorts. Today it wasn't hot but it was going to be at the concert so I didn't put tights on. I got little trainer socks out of draws and put them on. I brushed my hair into a middle parting and split my bangs accordingly the same as the parting and clipped them back.
I went and sat down in front of the mirror we had and opened my two little drawers of make up from the mirror box I had got when I was eleven. I put a little eye shadow on with a wet eye liner with a flick. I used my special blusher that looked like nail varnish after I had put concealer on first. I put my pink lipstick from lush on and smiled. I stood up and picked up my little on the shoulder bag and put the passes and tickets in there along with my purse which had a twenty pound note in. Connie was done by the time I was ready as she got dressed quicker than me even though it was usually the other way around.
I could tell we were going to have hard time getting out let alone getting there, so we had to run as the concert started in a hour and we still have to get out of the house!
