We live in a foster home. Both our parents died in a car crash along with my brother and her sister. We were lucky. We were the survivors. Now we've gone from what seemed like a high life up town to running around rags down town. Its all up to a letter from a magazine that can change our lives from then on. By the way, we're Jess and Connie and we now live with the famous boy band one direction.

3. 2. Lets Draw And Post It Off

Jess's P.O.V-

We both grabbed the pencils and began to draw out our pictures. Connie drew down heavily with the pencil which ended up as her using about  a million pieces of paper where as I sketched mine out lightly. Connie drew the album front cover to Take Me Home and I drew the boys doing the weener dance in front of the bus.

"Connie, that is your last piece of paper so draw lightly!"

"Blah blah blah", Connie muttered her hand making a mouth talking shape.

I felt like I was scolding her but Mrs Briggs would kill her, so it was for her own protection. Connie says all the stuff about us being legendary in this house. She does these weird tricks on Mrs Briggs that usually don't work but do some how make something happen to her. I do the classic. Bucket on door. All them type of things. Mrs Briggs hated us for it.

I grabbed the magazine from my bedside table and grabbed another piece of paper. I copied out the slip from the magazine and cut it out along with the magazines entry slip.

"Connie time to play we need two envelopes, and only one person in this house has them", Connie nodded and evil grin spreading across her face. "And I really want a packet of watsits she keeps below her desk", she shrugged.

"They are nice though I do prefer pringles", she said shaking her meaning no pringles are better. Oh no she didn't. She just dissed watsits. I'll get her back later.

"Yes but watsits are cooler, end of", I stood up and pulled her up with me. We ran to the little staircase that led down to the second floor. I stopped just before the first step. I hel up three fingers and counted down. Only we knew what this meant.

"Oppan Gangnam Style", we both shouted and started to dance down the stairs. When we got to the hallway on second we did the sexy lady part. Once we reached the stairs again I counted down from three again.

"Oppan Gangnam Style!!", we shouted in unison. We did the dance down the stairs once again and did the sexy lady dance across the first floor where all the little kids slept. They burst out in laughter as we passed them. This is why all the little ones loved us. I held up the fingers and started to count down.

" 3, 2, 1 Oppan Gangnam Style!!!", we shouted at the almost top of our lungs so Mrs Briggs would hear us. We danced down the stairs, breathing out of our noses as we sang, thudding as loud as we could. You see, we were trying to agitate her so she would come out of her study into the kitchen where Connie would apologize and make her a lovely cuppa of tea, giving me the time to sneak the envelopes and a few packets of watsits out of her study. Anyways back to the moment.

At the second to last step we stopped and did the sexy lady part and then jumped off. Once we landed we shouted ' Oppan Gangnam Style' whilst doing jazz hands. I sneaked around the corner of the living room wall and waited to hear Connie apologizing. I heard her say sorry and ask Mrs Briggs if she wanted a cup of coffee or tea. Obviously, she said yes and I heard the kettle go ding signalling Connie was making her a coffee.

"Mrs Briggs I can't find the sugar!", I heard Connie shout.

"Its in the the cabinet furthest to the left", she shouted back. I heard shuffling around and knew Connie was taking it and hiding it.

"Mrs Briggs its not there!", Connie yelled at her. I heard Mrs Briggs sigh and go to the kitchen. This was my chance. I knew where everything was. I grabbed to big brown envelopes and six packets of watsits. As Mrs Briggs back was facing me i waved the objects at Connie. As soon as she noticed she got herself out of there.

"Sorry gotta go Briggs!", that was Connie's nickname for her. By time she had turned around we were running up the stairs giggling.

Connie's P.O.V-

I slammed the door behind me and Jess I rolled down the door laughing my head off! Briggie should know by now that I will never, I repeat, NEVER, make her a coffe or tea!

"Lets do this!" Jess said, she got our drawings and placed them carefully into the big brown envelopes. I was still in the laughing stage, by the way I LOVE laughing! Jess then put one of the slips in and sealed it shut. I wrote the address on the envelope and when I had done that Jess passed me the other envelope to write the address on. After doing so we snuck down stairs so we could go and post them off. To get to the front door we needed to go past the kitchen. Briggie was in there with Joe (our other care worker!)

"I just think she could be really nice girl if she wanted to be!" Briggs said. Oh so they are talking about me behind my back!?

"I guess she just likes to stand out!?" Joe suggested. I like Joe! He is so relaxed all the time! I looked at Jess who had also been listening, I gave her the puppy dog eyes, she rolled hers. I smiled sweetly at her and gave her my envelope. She turned around and went to post them off. I sat against the wall and carried on listening.

"What I was thining was maybe splitting Connie and Jess up!?" Briggs said. O_O- shocked face.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you! They are best friends!" Joe said.

"Are you trying to tell me how to do my job!?" Briggs said.

"Oh, no! Not at all! I was just saying that they should stay together!"

Briggs sighed and probally rolled her eyes. I heard her footsteps coming towards the door. I decided to just sit there.

"Evestropping are we!?" Briggs said standing tall over me.

"Talking about me and Jess behind our backs are we!?" I said back staring up at her.

"Thats it! You are grounded!" Briggie said, I shrugged my shoulders and pulled myself up the wall. That was when Jess walked in.

"And so are you!" She said before storming to her office.

"Am I grounded!?" Jess said. I giggled and nodded. We linked arms and skipped up to our bedroom laughing whilst sing 'Follow the yellow brick road' from the Wizard of Oz!
