I looked out the window and watched what was outside. I felt butterfly's in my stomach or its the baby, but either way it felt like them. Harry squeezed my hand, "nervous, love?" He asked, I nodded slightly.
"There's nothing to be afraid of. We are going to see our perfect baby boy today and nothing can make this day worse." I smiled when he said our boy.
"Wait how do you know it's a boy? Maybe it's a girl!" I said and smiled.
"Well I want a boy, and I know that child will be a boy!" He smiled cheekily.
"Well I want a girl!" I laughed.
"Shh!" He put a finger to his lips, "don't jinx it!" I was confused, "What are you talking about, Harry?" I asked.
"I want a girl too and I only said I wanted a boy because I don't want to jinx the chance of not getting my precious baby girl." I swear my heart melted,.
"Harry that's the sweetest thing I've ever heard in my life." I smiled, "but no matter what I'll love this child no matter what gender it is." He smiled.
Before I knew it we were in the hospital parking lot. "Ready?" He asked, I nodded. I felt like throwing up then and there.
I got out of the car and walked over to Harry. He grabbed my hand and we walked into the front lobby. "Hi we have an appointment for Dylan Greene." I told the nurse behind the desk. "Alright the doctor is ready for you." She led us to a small room with a hospital bed and a machine. We waited patiently for the doctor.
The doctor walked in, "hello I'm Dr. Tanner and I'm just going to ask you a few questions and then your midwife will come in." She smiled.
"Okay." I smiled.
"Who is this gentleman, the father?" She asked, I looked at Harry and he looked at me. "Well this is Harry and well at this point I don't know who the father is..." I tell her, she didn't look surprised.
"Well considering you are a teen I can see why..." Well that was rude.
"Excuse me?" Harry asked.
"Harry no its fine..." I tried to tell him. "No it is not fine! That was just plain rude!" He yelled.
Dr. Tanner looked up. "I'm sorry I'll leave you two alone and call in the midwife." She left the room.
"That was uncalled for!" I snapped at Harry.
"Did you here what she said? That was just rude and disrespectful!" He said in disbelief.
"I know Harry, but you didn't have to react like that!"
"Yes I did." He mutters and sits down. I roll my eyes, he is such a child.
The door opened quietly and a women in her late thirties early forties walked in. "Hello, I'm Johannah Tomlinson, but please just call me Jay." She smiled, and looked at Harry.
"Harry?" She asked in disbelief.
"Hello, Jay." He smiled, "who's this beautiful girl right here?" She asked him.
"That's my girlfriend Dylan." I smiled at the word girlfriend, she came over to shake my hand.
"Hi! In case you were wondering why I know Harry it's because I'm Louis's mum." My eyes widened.
"Oh okay, I see where Louis gets his good looks from."
She smiled, "thank you!" I smiled.
"Well anyway I heard what happened with Dr. Tanner and she is very sorry about that." I didn't want to hear anymore.
"Can we please not talk about her?" I asked.
"Oh gosh yes, and I can see by your expressions do you want to have a new doctor?" She asked, "Yes." Harry spoke suddenly not hesitating on his answer. I nodded my head slightly.
"Anyway, Dylan can I ask you some questions?" She asked, I nodded.
"Okay, when did you find out you were pregnant?"
"Um about a month ago..." I thought hard about that question.
"Okay, have you been having anymore morning sickness?" She asked.
"Um no not really any more...but I've been having quite weird food cravings." I tell her.
"That's completely normal. If you don't mind could you please lie down on the bed." I lied down and she lifted up my shirt.
She put on a stethoscope and pressed it on my lower abdomen. She smiled, "I can hear the heartbeat!" Harrys eyes sparkled.
"Do you want to listen Harry?" She asked, he jumped up at the opportunity. He listened and looked like he was about to cry tears of joy.
He put his hand on my tummy, "hello my little boy or girl!" I smiled at him, he smiled back.
"You want to see it?" Jay asked.
"Yes please!" I chirped.
"This will be slightly warm, okay?" I nodded, she put warm gel on my stomach and rubbed it in with a stick type thing that's hooked up to a monitor. I looked at the monitor, "there it is!" She announced, I felt tears form in my eyes.
"I can't believe I'm seeing my child right now!" I smiled and a tear fell down my cheek. Harry smiled and wiped it away. "Thank you so much, Jay." Harry smiled and hugged her, "anything for one of my sons!" She winked at him.
"Well I guess we should get going." He announced, I lifted my shirt back down and grabbed his hand.
"Oh Jay!" She turned around, "yes Dylan?" She asked.
"Well I was wondering if I could have a picture for my mum and sisters, and do you know when you can tell the gender of the baby?" I asked her.
"Of course you can have a picture! You can probably find out at your next appointment!" She smiled and handed me a tiny piece of paper.
"When's our next appointment?" I asked.
"Oh about three months from now." I nodded, "oh, and when can you find out who the father is?" I asked.
"You mean Harry's not the father possibly?" She whispered.
"No, but he knows." I stated.
She nodded, "Well you could maybe find out when you find out the gender of the child or you will just have to wait until its born." I nodded.
"Thanks! I appreciate your help!" I smiled and walked into the waiting room to see Harry waiting for me.
"Ready?" He asked.
"Yes. Do you think we could get some lunch? I'm starving!" I giggled. He smirked. "Sure, where to?" He asked.
"I really want McDonalds fries right now." He smiled.
"McDonalds it is!"
We walked out to the car and drove to the restaurant. "I can tell you're really excited about this baby." I say to him, he puts on a wide smile. "I'm absolutely over joyed!" He yelled.
I giggled at him. "Well it's three now and at about four I'm going shopping with Eleanor, Perrie, and Danielle." I tell him.
"I hope you'll have fun with them. They are really nice, and fun girls to be around."
I smiled, "I hope they are."
