7. Lets Eat!
As we walked around aimlessly trying to remember where there was some place to eat, we both asked some questions about one another, hoping to find out more about one another, and also trying to avoid any awkward silences. Just as we got on the topic of our hobbies, we found a new chicken place which Zayn appeared very interested in. We stopped there and went up to look at the menu. Once we ordered and sat down, we continued our conversation about hobbies. Zayn expressed to me that he loved to draw in his spare time, and sing also. He was here at Laurier to try and become an English teacher which has always been one of his dreams. As he talked, his deep voice mesmerized me and I was finding it hard to focus on what he was actually saying. I found that I was staring at his lips a lot as he talked and I had to remind myself not to get too caught up. I was here for a reason: to study Psychology and get a good occupation, not to fall in love and write my own “Romeo and Juliet” play.
