Kiss You

"Things like this don't just happen to everyone." I said. "I know. You're special, Pay. You're not like anyone I've ever known." Niall said. "I guess that's a compliment?" I joked, as Niall wrapped his arms around me in a hug, kissing the side of my head. ---------------------------------------------- "I love you Pay." Harry whispered in my ear. "You too Harry." I sighed. "I can love you more than he can. I can treat you better than he can." Harry said, pulling me closer to him. "If you would let me love you."

“Come on Pay!” Gabby said. “Just go.”

“Why?” I asked. “It’s just some stupid charity concert.”

“Whoa whoa whoa! No. It’s not a stupid charity concert.” She said, wagging her finger in my face. “This is the biggest party of the whole year. The Beach Bash.”

“So? It’s just a bunch of rich kids running around on a beach. Why should I go?” I stated, placing my hands on my hips.

“Because there are lots of fun people there. And cool games. And good music.” Gabby said, stepping closer.

“Continue.”

“And Matt is gonna be there. And you love me. And want me to find love. And Matt is gonna be there.” She said, flashing me some puppy dog eyes.

“Your mom won’t let you go without me? Correct?”

“Maybe.”

“Fine, but only for a few hours.” I said, giving in.

Gabby has the biggest crush on Matt, a popular guy in our class. Matt has a player rep, but he is actually really sweet. His blonde hair is swifted off to the right side of his face, framing his tan skin perfectly. His blue eyes shine brighter than the ocean. Matt is just perfect. People call him a player because every girl in school loves him. Some rumor that he is a Hollister model. I doubt that. But I’ve seen him shirtless and it’s not a bad sight.    Matt is a regular surfer down at the pier. I work up at the ice cream shop. It’s across from the ocean on the pier. Gabby claims she’s visiting me, but it’s obvious she comes to sit at the counter and drool over a shirtless Matt Tucker.

“Come on!” I yelled from my downstairs.

“Chill! I’m almost done.” Gabby yelled back.

“You said that 10 minutes ago.” I sighed, plopping down on the couch. I pulled out my phone and went on Facebook.

My feed was full of Amanda Bradford, the biggest plastic in school.  She makes me sick. She’s rude and mean and a life ruiner. Everybody thinks she’s perfect, because it’s true. Amanda is the prettiest girl in school. She thinks she’s better than everyone else just because her uncle is Simon Cowell.   Our school is located on the beach of South California. Uncle Simon gives the school a very large grant of money every year. In return, they allow her to use the property for the Beach Bash. Everyone from school is invited. Amanda Bradford holds the party to brag on how rich she is.

Gabby and I usually go just to get free stuff from the richest girl in town. It makes us sound bad, but Amanda is a complete jerk. I would never be friends with her. This year Gabby only wants to go because Matt is going. He dated Amanda last year. She still treats him like one of her little monkey minions.

“I’m ready!!!” Gabby announced, hopping off the bottom step.

“Jeez, it’s about time.” I groaned.

“Hey, beauty like this just doesn’t happen.”

“Whatever.” I said, picking up my towel. I had on a hot pink and black bikini. On top of my bikini, I had on jean short shorts and a white tank top that says “Young Wild Free” on it. I pulled my hair up into a neat high ponytail with a bright yellow headband.

Gabby had her brown hair down in curls. Her bikini was blue and white. She had on jeans shorts as well with a yellow tank top that says “Cool Story Bro” on it. Her makeup was done nicely.

We walked outside and hopped into my cherry red Ford Convertible Mustang. I had gotten my license last year and my aunt bought me the car for my sweet 16. My family isn’t rich, but they do have money. My aunt and uncle are very wealthy.

I turned on the car, and blasted the radio. Justin Bieber came on. Gabby and I belted out the words to the song at the top of our lungs.

“IF I WERE YOUR BOYFRIEND I’D NEVER LET YOU GO. KEEP YOU IN MY ARMS GIRL. YOU’D NEVER BE ALONE! I CAN BE A GENTLEMAN. ANYTHING YOU WANT!!!!!” We scream sang, driving to the beach.

I pulled up and parked. Taking out my phone, I dialed in my mom’s number. I placed the phone next to my ear.

“Hey mom. Gabby and I are going to the Beach Bash. We should be back late tonight. Is it okay if she stays the night?” I asked.

“Yeah honey. That’s fine. Listen, I gotta go now. Talk to you later. Have fun sweetheart. And stay out of trouble!” She replied, raising her voice at the last sentence.

I smirked and hung up.
