1. To mor mor's house!
My alarm goes off at 3 am. I shot out of bed and ran into Savanah’s room yelling.
“IT’S TIME TO GO TO MOR MOR’S. IT’S TIME TO GO TO MOR MOR’S!”
Mor Mor is my grandmother. She has been very close to me since my mother passed away when I was 14. It’s my 24th birthday and we are going to celebrate with her.
Savanah propped herself up on her elbow and looked at me with a blank expression and half opened eyes. She punched my arm and flopped back down.
“VAN. Come on! We even have a limo escort! C’mon first time traveling since the accident! Let’s go!”
Savanah sat up and groaned. She shoved the blankets off of her and slid out of bed. “All right fine. Let’s go.”
I squeaked with excitement and ran to my room to grab my bag.
*In the limo*
We walked out to the Limousine dragging our bags behind us. The driver came and took them for us. We slid into the elongated car and there was a note with a bottle of champagne. “Hm. The last renters of the limo must’ve left this….” I remarked.
“READ IT.” Savanah said in her delirious state.
“Eh-hem. Sparky, Left this for you! Can’t wait to see you! I’ve been missing your loving gaze and tender touch. Also your incredible clumsiness. It makes me look less gravity prone myself. You’ve been missed. –Harry”
“Well that’s cute! …Who the hell is Sparky…? Or Harry?”
I chuckled, “Not a clue! But yeah, cute note.”
“DRIVER. FORWARD HO.” Savanah shouted.
We popped open the bottle of champagne, the driver said it was put in only 10 minutes ago for us. Well who would object to that?
