Over Again

Makenzie and Savanah go on a trip to visit her grandmother for a while, but while in the airport they run into 5 boys, Harry, Niall, Liam, Louis, and Zayn. The boys know them, however the girls have no clue who they are.
It turns out Kenz and Van got into a car accident that wiped out their memories. But how do the boys know them? And why are they so kind to them?

2. Meeting the boys

*Getting off plane*

“Ugh. What a long flight. London to LA.” Savanah complained

“Well at least we don’t have to worry about it for another 2 months.” I replied.

As we were discussing the flight, a small group of girls swarmed us telling us how happy they were that we were okay, and how nice it was to see us again. This was odd, considering we had never met any of these girls… yet they seemed to know everything about us.

The girls had 100% focus on us, until the 5 boys of One Direction walked towards us. Their attention turned to them and they scampered over to them telling them they loved them and how they wanted their autographs. Van and I were in a hurry to go see Mor Mor so we really didn’t care about them at the moment. We began walking away.

“KENZ! VAN!” Liam shouted, “YOU READY FOR MORMOR’S?”

We stood in complete shock. How did Liam know our names? And why are they all going to MY Mor Mor’s house?

“Ah… look Liam,” Savanah explained politely, “I have no clue how you know us… but it’s creepy. Why are you guys going to Mor Mor’s?”

“We’ll explain in the car.” Zayn interjected.

We all jammed into the van, Harry took my bags and Niall took Savanah’s and they threw them in the back. As we were all getting situated, I caught Harry staring lovingly at me. He looked extremely sad. We held eye-contact until I decided to look down with embarrassment.

The boys all worked together to explain to us why we didn’t remember them.  Savanah and I had been driving when a semi T-boned us. We were lucky to have lived; however, we were both in comas for 2 years. We woke up simultaneously, a day before the doctors were planning to pull the plug.  Again, unfortunately, we didn’t remember anything from our lives before we were in the crash.  What we do remember has been triggers from things that jog our memories.

Savanah in shock said: “I can’t believe it… I just... it can’t be.”

Niall, in tears, had taken her hand. Savanah was surprised by the swift nonchalant gesture but made nothing of it. She needed the affection. I was sobbing. I didn’t know what they were talking about. That didn’t happen. I know it didn’t happen. There was absolutely no way. Harry put his arm around me and pulled me in for a hug.  Why were they being so nice?
