8. Meeting The Band
I woke up to Abby shaking me. Man, my head hurt. I let out a agonizing moan. Abby kissed me on the cheek softly and said, "We're here."
"Ugh." I said, moaning again. She got out and walked to the passenger side, where I was sitting. She opened the door.
"Here." She said, helping me up. "Let's get you some headache medicine, baby." She said, kissing my cheek. She was such a good girlfriend. I love her so much. We walked inside and she helped me up the steps and lied me down on her bed, going downstairs. My head hurt so bad. Taylor. She was such a bitch. How could she do this? I knew she was bad, but not THIS bad. She walked back in the room with a cup of water, a bottle of Advil, and some chocolate. "I heard that chocolate is the best medicine." She said smiling. I know she was being really sweet and thoughtful, but all I could do was moan in pain.
"It hurts sooooooo bad." I said, holding my head.
"I know, baby. I'm sorry." She said, kissing my forehead. "Better?" She asked, smiling.
"Yeah." I said, kissing her back, although my head still hurt like hell.
"Just lie down and get some rest." She said, running her fingers through my hair.
"Keep doing that." I said. "It makes it feel good."
"Okay, baby. Whatever will make you feel better." I fell asleep with Abby rubbing my head softly.
I woke up at 2 with Abby's hand still rubbing my head. The pain has let up so much.
"Hey, baby." I said, grinning and kissing her cheek.
"Feel better?" She asked.
"Actually, yes. A lot better." I said, telling the truth.
"Good. That's what I like to hear." She said, smiling. She kissed my head. "Here." She said, handing me some pills and a glass of water.
"Thank you." I said, taking it and consuming the medicine. I could barely even notice the fact I just got hit in the head with a baseball bat.
"I texted the boys and asked if they wanted to come over and see you.." she said, half smiling, not sure if it was okay.
"That's good. I've been missing my chaps." I said, smiling.
"I called my best friend, Jade, too. Is that okay?" She asked.
"Yeah, that's fine." I said.
"Okay, well she should be here any minute now. She only lives about 10 minutes away." She was cut off by a ring on the door. "Speak of the devil." She said, grinning. She walked down the steps. I took a piece of chocolate, hoping the headache would fully go away now.
"Speak of the devil." I said, grinning. I hurried down the steps and opened the door to find my bestfriend standing there, smiling. "Jade!" I smiled. I hurried and gave her a big hug. "I've missed you!" I said, pulling away.
"I've missed you too, love." She said, grinning. "Well, are you going to invite me in or what?" She said, pushing past me, before I could even answer. That's what I liked about Jade. She didn't care. She just put herself out to the world and didn't think about what people had to say. She walked up to my room.
"Jade, hold on." She didn't listen.
"Who is thi-oh my gosh." She said, holding her mouth open.
"Hi." Harry said, smiling.
"Jade, I'd like you to meet Harry Styles. My boyfriend." She pulled me out in the hallway.
"It would've been nice if you woulda told me your boyfriend is Harry bloody Styles!" She said, kinda pissed at first, but then she smiled. She can never stay mad. No matter who you are.
"Sorry, but I've kinda been on the hospital."
"Oh yeah, sorry. I forgot. Blonde moment!" She yelled. Harry moaned.
"Shhhh, don't be so loud. His head is killing him."
"Oh, sorry. Sorry, Harry!" She leaned her head into my room and whispered to Harry.
"It's okay, love." He said, forgiving her.
"Well, tell me a little about yourself!" She said, pretending like she didn't already know. He told her some things about his life and she acted surprised at all of them, though I knew she already knew. Another ring on the door.
"I got it." I said, getting up.
"Who's that?" Jade asked.
"You'll see." I said, smiling. I walked down the steps and opened the door to four boys. One with a shaved head, one with a blonde quiff and an Irish accent, one with a black quiff and a streak of blonde in front, and another with brown, straight, normalish hair. They had balloons that said, "Get Well Soon!" I had already told them what had happened. "Be quiet." I shushed them and put my finger over my lips. I came up the steps and motioned for the boys to stay still. Jade asked who was at the door and I told her it was just a mailman. I threw a wink at Harry and he smiled. Jade didn't notice. I sat on the bed and acted like nothing was going on. I saw Louis look around the corner and motioned for them to come in, but to be silent.
"I have to use the loo, please excuse me." Jade said, getting up and turning to the rest of One Direction. She stood there with her jaw dropped.
"Hello there, love." Liam said, smiling.
"Uh, hi, Liam." She blushed, looking down.
"What's your name?" Niall asked.
"Jade. Jade Martin."
"Well, I'm Niall. Niall Horan!" He said, laughing.
"Yeah, I know." She said smiling.
"Well, aren't you going to introduce yourselves in front of the beautiful girl?" Liam nudged to Louis and Zayn.
"Of course! Hello, love. I'm Louis." I could tell that he and Jade were going to get along well. I've never seen her be so shy in my life. He gave her a tight squeeze.
"And I'm Zayn." Said the tanned boy, kissing her hand. She just stood there and grinned. I looked at Liam. I could tell that he really liked her. He was staring at her, smiling.
"Do you mind showing me where the bathroom is?" Liam asked me.
"Where's the kitchen?" Asked Niall, peeking around from behind Liam. I laughed.
"Hey, Jade. Why don't you show the boys around?" I said.
"Okay." She said, smiling. The boys left and I finally got some alone time with Harry.
"I think Liam really likes her." He said, talking about Jade.
"Yeah, me too. She's had the biggest crush on him for like two years."
"Really? Since the X-Factor?"
"Yeah. And I've always thought you were pretty adorable yourself." I said, smiling.
"I love you." He said, kissing me passionately. Louis walked in.
"Whoa! Get off of my man!" He said. I just ignored him and I saw Harry lift up his hand. I think he flipped him off.
"Harry." I said, into his ear. I felt him shiver.
"Yes, love?" He said.
"I love you too." I said, kissing him again. Things felt like they were finally back to normal. Finally.
